Brooke Mueller is in some serious trouble. According to TMZ, Brooke has been formally charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. The charges stem from her arrest in Aspen on December 2nd, last year. At the time, she was caught with more than four grams of cocaine, which if convicted, could land her in prison for six years.

In case those charges don’t stick, prosecutors also added another count, possession for holding under four grams, which could land her in jail for 18 months.

On top of the drugs charges, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife has also been charged with assaulting a woman on that evening.

On December 2, she was arrested for dealing drugs inside a club in Aspen. A woman inside the club called the police, and accused Brooke of assaulting her. A spokesman for the City of Aspen and Pitkin County Police said at the time: “Officers with the Aspen Police Department were on a routine walk through when they contacted a woman who reported an assault which had taken place. The woman identified Brooke Mueller as the aggressor.”

She was arrested on the spot and charged with assault, and when police officers searched her, they found a large amount of cocaine in her possession. The police spokesman said: “Mueller was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree (class one misdemeanor) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (class four felony).”

Brooke recently successfully completed two months in rehab. Apparently she’s clean now. “Brooke is feeling better than ever before, and is committed to continuing treatment for as long as necessary to maintain her total and complete sobriety.”

Charlie Sheen‘s ex-wife Brooke Mueller can say goodbye to any chance that the Aspen County District Attorney’s office will attempt to strike a plea deal with the trouble struggling actress.

Brooke was arrested back in early December 2011 after being accused of beating up a woman in a Colorado nightclub. Arresting officers later claimed to have found cocaine on Brooke.

“No deal has been discussed,” Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “A motion to continue the arraignment to March 5 was filed.” (Brooke’s attorney filed the motion.)

The mother of Sheen’s twin sons Bob and Max has been “doing very well in rehab, this is the first time she has been in a residential treatment program, and it’s been a very positive experience for her so far. Brooke will be at the facility for approximately 35-45 days in total,” a source says.

The arraignment was continued in hopes of getting Mueller a better deal because her attorney wants to give the judge and the DA a full report from her treatment facility.

“The fact that Brooke went to rehab on her own, and took responsibility for her actions will show the Court that she is taking this very seriously, and she is hopeful that a plea bargain will be made,” the source says.

If convicted, Brooke is looking at up to 7-years in prison.

According to TMZ, Brooke Mueller has checked herself into full-time rehab, after originally considering in-home rehabilitation.

Mueller’s rep, Steve Honig, tells TMZ, “After further reflection and consideration, Brooke has decided to remove herself from the media spotlight and has entered a long-term in-patient treatment center where she can focus on her recovery without distraction.”

“She has already arrived at the facility and, out of respect for her privacy, no further information will be released about her treatment. Brooke’s goal is to maintain her sobriety and she believes this is the best option to reach that goal.”

“Brooke will retain custody of the children, who will remain in their home and familiar surroundings and be under the care of their longtime nanny. Charlie and Brooke’s parents fully support her decision and everyone recognizes the importance of maintaining the children’s normal routine.”

Brooke had previously decided she would enter an outpatient rehab program to be with her kids — so much for that.

Amidst the rumors that Brooke Mueller is a drug-dealing cocaine abuser following her arrest in Aspen, Colorado last Friday, Charlie Sheen says that there is no way that any of that’s true about his ex, especially because of the money he pays her.

When he was asked about Brooke’s arrest and allegation of drug-dealing, Charlie said:

“With the child support I give her … she’s gonna deal drugs? Never gonna happen.”

I’d have to agree, seeing as he dishes out $55,000 a month in child support. Why?

He said some other tidbits to add in there:

“We’re interested in co-parenting … the kids need two parents.”

“The cops in Aspen are Keystone on their finest day … these are the clowns that let [Ted] Bundy go.”

That’s a pretty bold statement seeing as how those same cops in Aspen let him off the hook after he was arrested for reportedly holding a knife to Brooke’s throat during their argument that shocked the media back in 2009.

Charlie Sheen’s troubled ex-wife was arrested for cocaine possession with the intent to distribute while vacationing in Aspen.

Brooke Mueller is just as big of (if not bigger) mess than her ex-husband Charlie Sheen. Whenever on TV or doing interviews, she looks like a complete mess. Which is so heartbreaking to me, considering she’s raising two young boys.

Early Saturday morning Brooke was arrested in Aspen, Colorado, for possession of cocaine.

Brooke Mueller was arrested while vacationing in Aspen, Colorado for felony cocaine possession with the intention to distribute early Saturday morning.

In a statement released by the Aspen Police Department, Charlie Sheen’s ex, 34, was also busted for a misdemeanor 3rd degree assault charge.

The mom of 2-year-old twin sons Bob and Max was released from Pitkin County Jail Saturday morning when she posted the $11,000 bond. Mueller has a District Court date of December 19.

On Christmas day in 2009, Sheen, 46, allegedly held a knife to Mueller’s throat and threatened to kill her. He later pled guilty on lesser charges and spent time in rehab, not jail. Since the incident, the two had lived apart, although their divorce wasn’t officially granted until this past May.

A source told Us Weekly in August that the parents have been “getting counseling and therapy [with] the boys” and Mueller, who has struggled with substance addiction, is “actually responding to treatment.”

According to Radar, a woman claimed that Brooke came up to her at Belly Up Aspen, a nightclub. The woman told police she was assaulted by Brooke, who by then had moved on to another Aspen club. Police arrested her, and charged her with “assault in the third degree (class one misdemeanor) and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (class four felony).” And Radar’s source says, “How do you help someone like Brooke? Her parents even moved to Los Angeles to take care of her and help her take care of her kids, and that didn’t even help. With this latest development, her friends are beyond caring anymore.”

So sad! I really hope she gets her life together, for her boys.

Brooke Mueller, who is Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife was spotted yesterday afternoon shopping in Hollywood. Maybe the (wait, what does she do?) reality star (if you say so) can’t stop smiling because her ex just landed a pretty huge settlement with Warner Bros! Charlie won’t have any problems making those child support payments now!
