After seven seasons with Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Burke-Charvet, was rewarded with a big ol’ pink slip. This past February, ABC made the announcement that Burke-Charvet was out, and Erin Andrews, a sports reporter, would be replacing her as co-host to the show alongside Tom Bergeron.
Brooke opened up about losing her job in Shape magazine – admitting that she was blindsided by the news – which she received over the phone, but that she’s moved on and stayed positive because ‘it was only a TV show.’
Brooke appears in the magazine, with a ridiculous body, and speaks about aging and how ‘it feels impossible’ that she’s turning 43. I believe it- I would have given my left thumb for that physique at age 20! Girl has a lot to be proud of, not the least of which are her four children, ages 6, 7, 12, and 14, and a successful battle with cancer.
Burke-Charvet now teaches Booty Burn – a rhythmic and high-energy workout, and has started her own line of athletic wear- called Caelum.
She says, “What is age, anyway? I feel young because I’m beginning a new chapter in my life, which is so exciting!
