Brooke Shields has signed on for Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell’s new TV series ‘Lipstick Jungle’.

The one-hour pilot for NBC, is based on Bushnell’s best seller about three rich, power-hungry professional women in New York City.

Shield’s will play Wendy, a movie studio president and harried wife and mother to three children.

The 41-year-old starred in the sitcom Suddenly Susan and most recently appeared as a mentally disturbed psychologist in the plastic surgery drama NIP/TUCK.

Brooke Shields and Courteney Cox take their kids on a play date in Santa Monica while David Arquette and Chris Henchy get their workout playing basketball. The Hollywood moms and their children enjoy a relaxing afternoon singing and dancing lead by a children entertainer.
