Britney Spears hasn’t let Crossroads put her off a movie career.
During a Q&A session with fans on Twitter, the pop princess revealed she’d love to be in a Judd Apatow or Todd Phillips film.
The singer – whose last film appearance was in the critically-panned teen flick Crossroads nearly a decade ago – said she would like to do more films, writing: ” I love to act and would love to be in a Todd Philips or Judd Apatow movie.”
Brit also informed fans that she would not be playing at this weekend’s Grammys.
“I won’t be there and I was never planning on going,” she wrote.
I don’t blame her. Lady Gaga is going to perform, and no one wants to perform after her!

Wow, that’s quite the teaser! At a whopping 5 seconds, you can alllllllmost see Britney!
Rumors have been swirling this week that Britney wasn’t able to do the dance routines herself, and she required a stand-in-dancer to do the dance numbers for her!
Multiple sources on the music video set tell TMZ, Jonas Akerlund, the director, was upset that Britney hadn’t practiced enough , so he asked her dance-double — Allison Kyler — to fill in.
We’re told it got so heated between Britney and the director — the singer left the set crying on the second day.
Although multiple sources connected with the production have told TMZ the story, Britney’s camp flatly denies it. A rep for Britney tells TMZ, “The accusations could not be further from the truth. Britney worked extremely hard on this video and rehearsed for six weeks prior to shooting.” The rep adds Brit and Jonas got along great, and “Fans will immediately see how inaccurate these claims are once they see the video.”
Jonas tells TMZ, “[Britney's] been great throughout the entire process. At the end of the shoot I got the warmest hug I ever got from an artist, and I look forward to hugging her again very soon!” Jonas adds, I’ve been around long enough to know when an artist gives it their all, and to me It doesn’t get better than this.”
Jonas says, “This video is gonna be f**king awsome. It’s all Britney.”

Britney Spears‘ 7th album will be titled ‘Femme Fatale’ and will be released in March! “I’ve poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years,” Spears tweeted.” I’ve put everything I have into it.”
Spears also tweeted an image of the cover, which is similar to the art for the album’s first single, “Hold It Against Me,” except that she faces the camera while sporting a white feathered outfit.
She teased the album title with the tweets, “Sexy and strong…Dangerous yet mysterious…Cool yet confident!”
Spears dedicated her seventh record to her fans, “who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way!”

Britney Spears Tweeted a sneak peek photo from the set of her new music video “Hold It Against Me” on Sunday.

On Saturday, after the first day of shooting, Spears Tweeted: “Such an incredible experience. I think this will be one of the best videos I have ever done.”
The director is Swedish wunderkind Jonas Akurland — who has helmed such classic videos as Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s “Telephone,” Madonna’s “Ray of Light” and more.
Last week, Spears enjoyed the stellar news that “Hold It Against Me” debuted in the top spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart — shattering first-day sales records on iTunes.

According to MTV, Britney Spears latest single “Hold It Against Me” is still on the top of the iTunes chart! Not only that – but her latest single is the best lead single of her career!
The accolades keep coming in for Britney Spears‘ huge new single “Hold It Against Me.” It remains on top of the iTunes sales chart, has been played on radio thousands of times in a week and is almost guaranteed to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week. That would make “Hold It Against Me” only the 18th single in history to debut on top of the chart, the third in the past 12 months (Eminem’s “Not Afraid” and Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R” also pulled it off) and the second for Spears (her “3″ debuted on top of the chart in 2009). That’s an awful lot of history behind the first single from Spears’ still-untitled seventh album, which could be why the readers of the MTV Newsroom Blog declared “Hold It Against Me” the best lead single of Spears’ career.
PICS: Britney Spears and her beau Jason Trawick headed back home after a session at a studio in Studio City, but first the pair stopped off at Rite Aid in Calabasas for a few items. Britney walked out with a small bag while Jason carried a few larger bags containing Johnson & Johnson Baby Powder, chips and a few other things. Spears has been working hard at the studios for the past couple weeks as she prepares a new video for her latest song “Hold It Against Me” with routine rehearsals.
