Hey! Let’s Ruin Our Relationship With A Reality TV Show!

Newly engaged Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are determined to make their relationship work. So what better way to ensure a successful relationship then starting it off by doing a reality tv show!

A source confirmed to E! News that the altar-bound couple are trying to find a taker for their own reality show, and while specific details have yet to be hammered out, the show as it stands right now would focus on their young family.

The pair have only been engaged for two weeks and have already gone through media hell when Levi was talking smack about the Palin’s prior to their reunion of sorts.

He has since publicly appologized to the Palin family for his past behaviors.

I bet Sarah Palin is not a happy mother-in-law to be. Haven’t Levi and Bristol seen what happens to reality tv couples? It’s a sure fire way to destroy any hope of a happy marriage.

Regardless, for the sake of their son Tripp, we wish them well.

What in the world!? Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are ENGAGED!

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston reveal exclusively in the new Us Weekly that they are getting married.

And, they tell Us Weekly, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been kept in the dark about their plans … until now.

“We got engaged two weeks ago,” Bristol, 19, tells Us Weekly. “It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents.”

Bristol and Levi, 20 — who famously called off their previous engagement two weeks after welcoming son Tripp in December 2008 — tell Us Weekly they reconnected three months ago while working out a custody plan for their 18-month-old son.

“I really thought we were over,” Levi tells Us Weekly. “So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just started talking — and then we took Tripp for a walk.”

Says Bristol, “When he left that night, we didn’t hug or kiss, but I was thinking how different it was. He texted me: ‘I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again’ … I was in shock.”

Now comes the hard part: Getting the blessing of Sarah Palin, who has made no secret of her feelings for Levi. He provoked her fury last fall when he claimed that she had called her infant son Trig (who has Down syndrome) “retarded.” She fired back, telling reporters that anyone who posed for Playgirl would “say and do anything for even more attention.” Later, during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, she dubbed him “Ricky Hollywood” and called his “aspiring porn” career “heartbreaking.”

Says Bristol, “It is intimidating and scary just to think about what her reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on board.”

The Palins released a statement on the Today show Wednesday morning: “Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what’s best for our children. Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives.”

Levi Johnston Apologizes To Sarah Palin!

Well, it’s about time! Levi Johnston attemps to apologize to Palin family and particularly Sarah Palin.

“Last year, after Bristol and I broke up, I was unhappy and a little angry. Unfortunately, against my better judgment, I publicly said things about the Palins that were not completely true,” he tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I have already privately apologized to Todd and Sarah. Since my statements were public, I owe it to the Palins to publicly apologize.”

“So to the Palin family in general and to Sarah Palin in particular, please accept my regrets and forgive my youthful indiscretion,” Johnston says in the statement. “I hope one day to restore your trust.”

Briston Palin also added her own statement and had this to say on the matter.

“Part of co-parenting is creating healthy and honest relationships between the parents. Tripp one day needs to know the truth and needs to know that even if a mistake is made the honorable thing to do is to own up to it.”

For some reason, Levi Johnston had thought it in his best interest to attack the Palin household in the past. He claimed the Palin’s often talked of divorce and that Sarah Palin complained about her job as Alaska’s Governor. He talked about his sex life on Tyra Banks and even posed for Playgirl magazine.

Briston and Levi were in a custody battle over their son Tripp, but have since resolved their issue and are working together as co-parents.

Sounds like Levi is finally maturing!

Bristol Palin: I Don’t Want to Be an Actress!

Briston Palin doesn’t want to be an actress and the world rejoices. Did any of you catch that clip of her acting on The Secret Life of The American Teenager? Not good. So not good. The acting that is.

Bristol claims she is done with acting and would much rather do speaking engagements. But she says right now she is focused on raising her 2 1/2 year old son Tripp.

Bristol was happy that she decided to appear on The Secret Life of The American Teenager even if her acting skills were less than stellar.

“I didn’t have many lines or anything like that,” says Palin. “I just hope that this show opens up a dialogue between parents and teens — and teens amongst themselves — about the consequences of teen pregnancy, sex in general and relationships.”

I think she is doing a good service trying reaching out to other teen girls faced with the pressures of sex and relationships. If anyone understand the consequences she does.

Sarah & Bristol Palin, “We’re glad we chose life”

bristol-baby

Bristol Palin didn’t know what she was in for when she made the life-changing and controversial choice to have a baby at the young age of 18. But after she gave birth to her son, Tripp, in December 2008 — and broke up with her boyfriend, Levi Johnston — the reality of single motherhood quickly set in. “I remember sitting on a black recliner, just bawling my eyes out,” Bristol tells In Touch. “I was just rocking Tripp to sleep because he had been screaming for so long. I was just like, ‘What am I going to do? This is as bad as it gets.”

Though raising an infant has been challenging, Bristol has the unconditional love and support of her family — especially her mother, Sarah Palin.

After all, no one can better understand the complicated decision to have a baby under difficult circumstances. Just a year earlier, at the age of 44, Sarah carried her son Trig to term, even though she was told during a sonogram that he would be born with Down syndrome.

Now, the mother and daughter are sharing a unique experience— raising baby boys together under the same roof. In an exclusive interview at the family’s home in Alaska on January 10, Sarah and Bristol plopped down on the teenager’s bed and opened up about the joys and challenges of raising Tripp and Trig. With Trig’s birth, Sarah’s vice presidential run and Bristol’s very public pregnancy during the campaign, “The last few years have been unreal and surreal,” Sarah tells In Touch.

Bristol Palin seeks sole custody of son

Bristol Palin & Levi Johnston

New court documents reveal a heated custody battle between Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, who has petitioned for sole custody over their son Tripp — the grandson of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Bristol’s early November request for sole custody was made public after a Superior Court judge ruled last week against keeping the court proceedings closed, the Associated Press reports. A temporary order had authorized the use of pseudonyms while the court was considering the request, which stated that no good “could result to the child by an onslaught of media.”

Johnston, 19, had pushed for open court proceedings.

“I feel more comfortable in a public courtroom which will help everyone stay civil and be on their best behavior,” he said in a statement.

Johnston is seeking shared custody and denies Bristol’s claims that he has avoided his parental responsibilities, according to the Associated Press.

In addition to sole custody, Bristol — who called her ex’s recent Playgirl magazine nude photo shoot “risque” — requested child support and asked that Johnston’s mother, Sherry, not be allowed unsupervised visits with their son following her drug arrest earlier this year.

“The best interests of the child compel the conclusion that Bristol should be awarded 100 percent legal and physical custody of Tripp, with visitation rights in favor of Levi,” Bristol’s attorney Thomas V. Van Flein said in the papers.

Bristol and Johnston broke off their engagement shortly after 1-year-old Tripp was born in December 2008.

Bristol Palin Exposes Her Sometimes Isolated Life

bigpeople.jpg

Bristol Palin’s pretty, lightly freckled face was nowhere to be seen on the overhead screen as images from her high-school senior slideshow – photos from the prom and a Class of 2009 portrait set against the Alaska snow – played during May 14′s Wasilla High commencement ceremony.

Did it make her sad to have missed out on so much senior-year fun – to be spending graduation night not with a gang of friends but at home, giving her 5-month-old son a bottle while her extended family plays “Eskimo bingo”?

Bristol, the eldest daughter of Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin’s five children, answers with a multitasking mom’s whiff of impatience: “I have other things to worry about.”

Bristol Palin, 18, has logged more of those “other things” than some people twice her age. In just the past nine months, she weathered her mother’s bruising vice-presidential run; a failed engagement to boyfriend Levi Johnston that played out in the national media; and, most indelibly, a pregnancy that made her both mother and poster child. She is uncertain where she will go to college – she’s thinking of a two-year business program – but says her near future will include advocating for teen-pregnancy prevention.

“Girls need to imagine and picture their life with a screaming newborn baby and then think before they have sex,” she tells PEOPLE. “Think about the consequences.”

Her mom may be governor, but there is no nanny in the Palin house. Bristol gets up – usually twice during the night – to feed Tripp, who sleeps in a hand-me-down crib in her bedroom, and she says she has tapped out at least one school paper with her son crying in the background. She breastfed her baby for a month, pumping milk before class and rushing straight home to feed him. And she worked two part-time jobs to help pay for the diapers and formula her parents otherwise supply.

“If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex,” says Bristol, sitting at her parents’ lakeside patio table. “Trust me. Nobody.”

As for her breakup with Levi, 19, with whom she’s still trying to resolve child support and visitation issues, Bristol says it was for the best. “I’m thankful we didn’t get married because if it wasn’t going to work now, it wasn’t going to work in five years.”
