‘Duck Dynasty’ troublemaker has a fan in Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin has come to the aid of ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Phil Robertson. He’s come under fire for some seriously awful comments about homosexuality, and most everyone has agreed that what he did was horrible. Not everyone agrees, and Sarah Palin is one of them.

Along with a photo that Sarah published on her Facebook page, Sarah wrote, “Free speech is endangered species; those ‘intolerants’ hatin’ & taking on Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing personal opinion take on us all.”

I’m finding myself landing somewhere in the middle on this topic. Much like the Paula Deen fiasco earlier this year, I feel like no one is allowed to say whatever they want anymore. Obviously A&E knew that Phil was a conservative Christian, and knew his belief system before even putting him on the air. So why were they surprised when he spoke out about it? I think what he said was offensive, but I feel like people take things waaaaaaaaaay too far.

I feel like A&E is trying to protect their bottom line, which I guess, isn’t terribly wrong either.

Basically – if you could just give everyone a script –  and tell them what to say – things will be much easier.

It’s a good thing there aren’t any cameras around people like my grandpa (who’s about the same age as Phil). Not to make excuses, but there are a lot of offensive things being said by men of a certain age.

Track Palin’s Ex, “I’m Okay With It.”

Sarah Palin isn’t having a good week!

Why? Because her soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law Britta Hanson exclusively confirmed to that she is getting a divorce from her husband of less than two years, Sarah’s son, Track Palin.

“I’m fine with it,” Britta told Radar about the end of her short-lived marriage. “We just filed the papers so we aren’t divorced yet. I’m not sure how long it will take to get the divorced finalized.”

Very cold-sounding! Anyhoo, in case you’ve forgotten (I know I have), Track and Britta got married in May of 2011 in their home state of Alaska. The ceremony was officiated by Britta’s father Reverend Duane Hanson and attended by her mother Elizabeth Hanson, and of course, the whole Palin crew was there, too.

…three months later, daughter Kyla Grace arrived!

No word about custody battles between Britta and Track (not like the very public custody hearings happening between Bristol and ex, Levi Johnston).  They’re trying to keep a low profile, but it’s hard, when you’re a PALIN!

Sarah Palin Says She’s Writing A Fitness Book

Sarah Palin is moving on to new projects…FITNESS BOOK Projects?!

You’ve all seen the weirdly thin, terribly-styled photos of Sarah Palin online, and as a response to media inquiry,  former Alaska governor and tells People Magazine that she’s just fine. In fact…she’s working with her family on a new fitness book!

Disbeliever? In an email to People today, Palin wrote, “Our family is writing a book on fitness and self-discipline focusing on where we get our energy and balance as we still eat our beloved homemade comfort foods!”

Yeah, the same VP nom who used to treat houseguests to treats like moose chili, chocolate cream pies, pecan pies and lemon meringue pies. Well, guess the whole fam is getting healthier, no?

“We promise you what we do works and allows a fulfilling quality of life and sustenance anyone can enjoy,” Palin adds.  Hmm…if it’s going to make me look like the current Sarah Palin, I’m not sure how much I’ll like it…

Palin said, “After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States.”

Palin added, “In the coming weeks, I will help coordinate the strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.”
