Sarah Palin Is Getting Her Own “Judge Judy”-Style Show

Screen Shot 2016-03-23 at 12.13.14 AM

And the rapture is upon us.

Former Alaska Gov. and general giant, fantastic idiot Sarah Palin is coming to your TV soon. No, this is not a joke.

The former vice presidential candidate signed a deal last month that will have her preside over a planned reality court show. If it gets picked up by stations, it’ll premiere next year under Montana-based production company Warm Springs. The company first approached Palin with the idea in 2015 and has a team around her including the TV executive who found Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown.

Obviously, she’s wildly unqualified to judge ANYONE, but hey, I guess she has some TV experience. Sigh.

A source via People says “Palin’s telegenic personality, wide appeal and common sense wisdom make her a natural for this kind of format and she was Warm Springs’ top pick for this project.”

Oh, GOOD. I’m curious who their B, C, D choices were.  I can’t really believe this is happening. Or, in this Trump-as-presidential-candidate age, maybe I can. Ugh.

Sarah Palin would run for office again if given the opportunity

Sarah Palin would run for office again if given the opportunity

Sarah Palin says that she would definitely run for political office again if given the opportunity. If she found the support needed to run, she would do it in a heartbeat!

When she appeared on Good Morning America, Robin Roberts asked her what it would take to get her to run for office again. She said, “What it would take would be knowing the American public would be ready for someone going rogue, you know, calling it like they see it, and having the experience that they see could be put to good use in the name of service. If I really felt that was there in terms of support, I would be more than willing to serve.”

She went on to say, “And also, living my life, putting it in God’s hands, knowing you just never know what door may be opened. And if the door is open, I’m built to run through it, man. Charge through it.”

On another interview on Tuesday, she lavished praise on Russian President Vladimir Putin for doing what he can to protect his country from the threat of ISIS. She said, “You have to hand it to the man that nobody has to guess whose side he’s on. He’s putting his people first and doing the right thing. And I think that maybe some other leaders could kind of learn from some of that, that he is exuding that strength.”

Host Brian Kilmeade said, “He also assassinates his enemies, so that’s the negative side of him.”

Sarah said in response, “Exactly. I mean, that’s why I’m saying: Good, bad or ugly, though, you have to give the man due respect. It seems our president is satisfied with what we’re doing, which isn’t enough. I’m this close to feeling sorry for our president and his naivete.”

This might be merely my own personal view about Sarah, but she’s such a bobblehead.

‘Duck Dynasty’ troublemaker has a fan in Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin has come to the aid of ‘Duck Dynasty’ star Phil Robertson. He’s come under fire for some seriously awful comments about homosexuality, and most everyone has agreed that what he did was horrible. Not everyone agrees, and Sarah Palin is one of them.

Along with a photo that Sarah published on her Facebook page, Sarah wrote, “Free speech is endangered species; those ‘intolerants’ hatin’ & taking on Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing personal opinion take on us all.”

I’m finding myself landing somewhere in the middle on this topic. Much like the Paula Deen fiasco earlier this year, I feel like no one is allowed to say whatever they want anymore. Obviously A&E knew that Phil was a conservative Christian, and knew his belief system before even putting him on the air. So why were they surprised when he spoke out about it? I think what he said was offensive, but I feel like people take things waaaaaaaaaay too far.

I feel like A&E is trying to protect their bottom line, which I guess, isn’t terribly wrong either.

Basically – if you could just give everyone a script –  and tell them what to say – things will be much easier.

It’s a good thing there aren’t any cameras around people like my grandpa (who’s about the same age as Phil). Not to make excuses, but there are a lot of offensive things being said by men of a certain age.

Track Palin’s Ex, “I’m Okay With It.”

Sarah Palin isn’t having a good week!

Why? Because her soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law Britta Hanson exclusively confirmed to that she is getting a divorce from her husband of less than two years, Sarah’s son, Track Palin.

“I’m fine with it,” Britta told Radar about the end of her short-lived marriage. “We just filed the papers so we aren’t divorced yet. I’m not sure how long it will take to get the divorced finalized.”

Very cold-sounding! Anyhoo, in case you’ve forgotten (I know I have), Track and Britta got married in May of 2011 in their home state of Alaska. The ceremony was officiated by Britta’s father Reverend Duane Hanson and attended by her mother Elizabeth Hanson, and of course, the whole Palin crew was there, too.

…three months later, daughter Kyla Grace arrived!

No word about custody battles between Britta and Track (not like the very public custody hearings happening between Bristol and ex, Levi Johnston).  They’re trying to keep a low profile, but it’s hard, when you’re a PALIN!
