Megan Fox and fiancé Brian Austin Green have split, Usmagazine.com has learned. “The relationship had run its course,” an insider tells Us exclusively. “They both realized the time had come to go their separate ways. It’s completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.” Fox, 22 (who’ll reprise her role as Mikaela in this June’s sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), and Green, 35 (a regular on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), now “are both focusing on their careers,” the source adds. The couple — who have tattoos of each other’s names — met in 2004 and, as Us first reported, got engaged in November 2006.
Last November, Fox told Us that the wedding plans were still on. “It’s not going to be a big wedding,” she told Us at a GQ bash. “I’m not one of those girls. If it happens, it will be very low-key and quick and unplanned.” She said she and Green — who has a 6-year-old son, Kassius, from a previous relationship — haven’t talked about wanting more kids. “I feel like I need to set my career and do a movie other than Transformers,” she said. “Then I’ll explore family.” Green laughed off split rumors last year. “The last thing we do is get upset,” he told Us. “We usually go have dinner and have a glass of wine and laugh about it.” Asked last July what he loves most about Fox, he told Us, “Everything is my favorite thing about her.”

Brian Austin Green is in court right now over custody of his 6-year-old son Kassius.
Green is there along with baby mama Vanessa Marcil. As we reported, Marcil wanted the hearing after complaining about details of their custody arrangement.
No Megan Fox sightings today. Fox was there to support Green when they were in court earlier this month.
The hearing is being held behind closed doors.

Megan Fox has become the ideal stepmother-to-be for fiance Brian Austin Green’s son Kassius – she even feels guilty when she’s on location.
The pretty 22-year old loves Green’s six year old just like a mom, and can’t stand it when she’s forced to work away from home.
She explains, “Sometimes I get sad, because sometimes I’m out of town a lot. Brian works but he’s always in town and I have to travel a lot, and sometimes that’s hard, because it’ll be weeks and weeks without seeing Cash (Kassius), and that’s sad. Luckily he’s used to it, because both of his parents are in the business, so he’s used to always being in transit. And it’s not so hard on him. But I feel guilty a lot.”
Fox insists she’s the disciplinarian at home – because her fiance feels bad about giving his son, whose mother is actress Vanessa Marcil, a hard time.
The Transformers star adds, “I was raised in the South and my mom was a strict disciplinarian… It’s really easy for me to lay out the rules and make sure that the rules are followed constantly, but I think because he’s from a home with divorced parents, it’s hard for Brian to punish him (Kassius). He feels bad that Cash has to always go through the transition in switching homes.”

Brian Austin Green, more commonly known as David Silver, would like to play the Riddler in the next Batman movie, if that’s cool with everyone else.
I thought Johnny Depp was thinking of taking the role, if it’s offered.
What do you think?
