WOW! That was fast! I listened to Bradley Cooper being interviewed by Howard Stern this week, and he was just GUSHING about girlfriend Renee Zellweger! Now comes news that the couple have broken up!
After less than two years together, the couple have split, multiple sources confirm to UsMagazine.com. Reps for both Cooper and Zellweger had no comment.
Limitless star Cooper, 36, first met Oscar winner Zellweger, 41, six years ago on the set of their thriller Case 39 — but romance didn’t bloom until summer 2009.
Bradley Cooper has admitted that he is concerned about the box office potential for The Hangover Part II.
The sequel – opening in cinemas this May – follows on from 2009′s comedy blockbuster, which grossed more than $450 million in ticket sales worldwide.
“As we inch closer to release, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t trepidatious,” Cooper told the Los Angeles Times of the Thailand-set follow-up.
However, the Limitless star believes that Part II has the potential to top the first movie, adding: “The script was better than the first one. The scope is larger. [Shooting it] went smoother than it did the first time in terms of letting spontaneous moments happen. And Bangkok is like Vegas on steroids.”
Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Zach Galifianakis and Mike Tyson will return for The Hangover Part II, joined by new castmembers Liam Neeson, Paul Giamatti and Jamie Chung.
PICS: Bradley Cooper arrive at the Ed Sullivan Theater last night in New York Cityfor an appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman”
Bradley Cooper makes his way out of the Trump Soho Hotel in New York City over the weekend. Bradley has been busy with recent projects such as “Limitless” due to hit theaters later this month, The Hangover II and other projects.
As for rumors that Charlie Sheen would be making a cameo in The Hangover II, Bradley quickly shoots them down.
“Unless they have a time machine and we can go back to Bangkok, my understanding is that we have already filmed the movie,” Cooper, 36, told PEOPLE at Saturday’s New York press conference for another film of his, Limitless.
In a way, the Sheen rumors are understandable, given director Todd Philips’s eagerness to line up unusual cameos. He originally went after Mel Gibson (that didn’t work out) and then got Bill Clinton to film a scene.
But Sheen was never on the radar, says Cooper. “It’s an interesting thing to start spreading,” he says of the rumor. “You would have to be a part of the Starship Enterprise in order to make that happen.”
Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper skipped Sunday’s Golden Globes due to the fact that Bradley lost his father the day before (same day Laura Linney lost her father).
Charles Cooper, 71, passed away on Jan. 15 after battling a long illness, according to PEOPLE. In addition to his son, he is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Holly and sister Nancy Peacock.
According to OK! Magazine, the actor’s father, a stock broker for Merrill Lynch, had a dream of being on the big screen, and Cooper was able to make his dream come true last year by snagging his father a cameo in ‘The A-Team.’
“It was one of the best experiences of my life. The guy loves to improvise,” Cooper told David Letterman on the ‘Late Show’ last summer. “He wanted to improvise with Jessica Biel. He was supposed to stay in his seat, but he got up … He wanted to have a conversation with Jessica!”
Cooper was noticeably absent from the Golden Globes on Jan. 16, along with girlfriend Renée Zellweger, who canceled her awards show appearance at the last minute to be with him.
Both Cooper and Zellweger were in his mother’s home when it caught on fire on Jan. 16. Firetrucks were called to the scene, but thankfully no one was injured. According to WENN, the actors were watching the Golden Globes when the blaze began.
Bradley Cooper promoting the magical pill NZT? Not so fast! It’s just a clever marketing clip from his upcoming movie ‘Limitless’.
Would you take a magic pill if it would make you rich and powerful? More from EW:
This miracle — and totally fictional — find is at the center of Cooper’s 2011 film Limitless (previously titled The Dark Fields, co-starring Robert De Niro and Abbie Cornish), in which an under-achieving loser quickly gets sucked into a more glamorous lifestyle (read: cliff-jumping, maniacal laughter, infinity pools!) thanks to the magic of a clear pill. Check out Cooper’s ad for the drug, and test your own brain power on the accompanying website to see if NZT is right for you. A little paralysis, amnesia, brain damage, and some homicidal blackouts never hurt anyone, right? I mean who doesn’t want to live like Bradley Cooper?
Here’s the movie where it all began… Renee stole my man!The two fell in love while filming this movie. Whether or not it’s going to be any good, I have a soft spot for movies where looooove bloomed. With that said, there’s no way in hell I’ll actually be able to watch this movie, I barely made it through the preview! It all looks very cliche’ horror movie, but maybe that’s your thing. Anyway – here is Case 39!
In Case 39, family services social worker Emily Jenkins (Renée Zellweger) thinks she has seen it all… until she meets 10-year old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland) and the child’s cruel and dangerous parents. Her worst fears are confirmed when the parents try to harm Lily, their only daughter. Frightened for her life, Emily enlists the help of Detective Mike Barron (Ian McShane) and takes Lily in while she continues the search for the perfect foster family. Just as it seems as though Lily is on her way to a more loving home, under the guidance of Emily and psychiatrist (Bradley Cooper), dark forces surrounding this young girl come to light and, little do they know, their attempts to protect her will only bring on greater horror…
