Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have hit back at claims their Hollywood neighbors are sick of the tabloid attention they have brought to their exclusive gated community.

Other residents of Los Angeles’ exclusive Franklin Village are reported to be “outraged” by the photographers who now swarm around the area, desperate for a glimpse of the couple and their four children.

Website Animalnewyork.com claims a number of homeowners are rallying to try and force the Pitt-Jolie family out of the neighborhood.

But Pitt doesn’t believe the reports – insisting he gets along well with his neighbors.

He tells the New York Post, “This is the first I’ve heard of this, which tells me it’s mostly not true. I have lived and worked in the same location off and on since 1995 and have never had any problems with my neighbors, only paparazzi and those who peddle in sensationalism.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie take children Zahara and Pax for a stroll on a very rocky beach near to Bono’s home in the South of France along with U2′s The Edge. Angelina was helped to take a seat to rest on the rocks by Zahara, Brad and The Edge whist Brad played with the kids at the waters edge.

Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and all four kids are holed up in Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen’s Villa Maryland in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat on the French Riviera.

The family arrived early Monday night via private jet at Nice airport with two nannies and three security guards says an onlooker.

As E! News first reported last month, Angelina is due this summer and plans on having her baby in France.

“It’s a breathtaking villa with views out over the Mediterranean [Sea] and they have roughly 12 staff on hand at all times to get them anything they need,” says a source.

“They’ve stayed there before and love the house, it’s very private and no one can see in.

The insider says that Jolie, who has two films opening at next month’s Cannes film fest, will kick back while Pitt goes house-hunting.

“They love France and will now be here until after the babies are born and Angie is looking at Marseille hospitals as a potential place to give birth.”

They also stayed at Paul Allen’s villa for a week during Angelina’s pregnancy with Shiloh in the early summer of 2006.

Jolie met Allen, who helped bankroll DreamWorks, when she was filming Shark Tale in 2004.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children refuse to accept their parents are sex symbols, to their kids they are “the dorkiest people on the planet”.

Jolie is convinced Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh will be stunned when they are old enough to appreciate their parents appeal.

The actress says, “I think our kids will look back on all of that as being really funny when they get older, because they think of us as being really dorky, in fact, the dorkiest people on the planet.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt regularly fight over politics, because they are both so passionate about their beliefs. But the actress insists she doesn’t mind their frequent verbal tussles – it’s what attracted her to Pitt in the first place.

She says, “Brad is political and one of the reasons we came together is that he is very aware. Perhaps he is more outspoken than me, and I like that. It is the only time we argue.”
And Jolie reveals that, contrary to her caring and charitable reputation, Pitt is the liberal of the household: “A lot of time is spent arguing over things like justice. I am in favor of a harder line than he is.”

It was a night with no shortage of celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood, Robin Williams, Snoop Dogg, Fergie and many others, but the biggest treat for the audience at Sunday night’s taping for American Idol’s second annual Idol Gives Back broadcast was none other than Brad Pitt himself.

Though Brad’s involvement with the special, which seeks to use the hit show’s unmatched popularity to highlight and raise money for good causes around the world, had been announced at the beginning of the season, many had assumed his segment would be pre-taped and that he would not appear in person.

But, following a video clip of the Fight Club star touring the hurricane-devastated areas in and around New Orleans and talking to the children of displaced families in the area, the hunky star walked onto the stage of Hollywood’s Kodak Theater.

“The crowd went wild!” one audience member tells OK!. “The noise was deafening.”

And even though the screaming fans began to quiet down after Angelina Jolie’s baby-daddy gestured for everyone to calm down, you still couldn’t hear him — but only because his microphone wasn’t working!

This little tech snafu, which witnesses tell OK! had also happened earlier in the evening to fellow celeb guest Reese Witherspoon, was quickly remedied. And it even gave Idol’s stage manager, Debbie Williams, an opportunity of a lifetime. “I just needed a reason to touch him,” she joked to the audience.

The father-to-be’s appearance on the Idol stage was brief, but he did take the time to thank the fans before he introduced a video of former Idol finalist Chris Daughtry visiting the African nation of Uganda.

“Brad actually seemed quite shy,” one audience member tells OK! about the superstar’s cameo appearance.
