Hollywood’s favorite nomadic couple is finally settling down – far away from Tinseltown.

Angelina Jolie tells Us Weekly that she and Brad Pitt have moved their three children, Maddox,5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh, to New Orleans.

“We love it there,” Jolie told Us at the Golden Globe Awards after confirming the move. “The kids are going to go to school there. We’re really looking forward to it.”

On January 12, just a day after moving to The Big Easy, Jolie was already mixing with the locals at restaurant Angeli on Decatur.

Diner Jorge Palacios tells Us the star – clad in an ivory dress over white pants – blended right in: “No one at my table believed me when I told them it was her.” And that’s just what she wants.

While Pitt works (he’s filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button locally), sources say Jolie, 31, plans on being a low-key mom in the $3.5 million, six-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath mansion the pair recently purchased (their fourth house) in the French Quarter.

“She’s interested in befriending normal moms so she can do things with the kids,” says a Jolie source.

And who can forget their humanitarian efforts? “Angelina has asked for places she can do charity work,” says the source, who adds that Jolie had inquired about a school for disadvantaged youth. And construction is set to start this month on the 20 environment-friendly homes Pitt, 43, jointly commissioned with Global Green USA.

The couple also hope to raise awareness for the region, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Says the source, “They think it is important to be there right now.”

Brad Pitt says five isn’t enough. At the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday, the actor told PEOPLE that he and girlfriend Angelina Jolie want another sibling for Maddox, 5, Zahara, 2, and 7-month-old Shiloh. “Always, of course,” he said. “We’ll let you know when we get there.”

Pitt also said that the globe-trotting clan will add to their frequent-flier miles, temporarily relocating to New Orleans for the next several months to film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

“I do like it there,” Pitt said. “It’s one of our most unique cities and it certainly needs some help right now. I know it will do fine, and the people are just fantastic.”

Pitt has visited New Orleans for the Hurricane Katrina recovery effort, cosponsoring with Global Green USA a contest to find an eco-friendly plan for housing and community centers. He also has been working with organizations helping AIDS orphans.

The family’s most recent stop has been the Caribbean, where Pitt and Babel costar Cate Blanchett were on location for Benjamin Button.

“We wrapped at 6 in the morning, got on a plane and got our crusty asses here,” he told PEOPLE.

Jolie and the children stopped over in Los Angeles while Pitt headed to Palm Springs with Blanchett for the film festival’s awards gala. The festival honored the Babel cast as well as Blanchett for career achievement and director Alejandro González Iñárritu. (The movie is also nominated for several Golden Globes, including a best supporting actor nod for Pitt.)

“For us, it’s about the ensemble award,” said Pitt. “Given the international nature of our cast, it’s a really nice honor.”

During the gala, Pitt joined the cast on stage and the 1,800 people in the audience in singing happy birthday to costar Rinko Kikuchi, who turned 26 on Saturday.

Angelina Jolie insists the key to a successful relationship is honesty.

‘The Good Shepherd’ actress, whose lover is Brad Pitt, is adamant if you want your love to last you have to be yourself and be completely open with your partner.

When asked if a little deception was necessary in a relationship, she told Britain’s OK! magazine: “No, I think the opposite is the only thing that works.

“I don’t want to have to spend my life having to pretend to be someone else, and I don’t want the person next to me to have to pretend because we have a long life ahead of us. So you just want to be able to be who you are in every moment, and that is the only way that you’ll ever be truly happy.”

Angelina met Brad on the set of their action film ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ and the pair began dating shortly after Brad split from his wife Jennifer Aniston in 2005.

They have three children together adopted son Maddox, adopted daughter Zahara and biological daughter Shiloh.
