Angelina Jolie is refusing to reveal when her unborn twins are due – so she and partner Brad Pitt can keep the media guessing.

The actress was reported to be due on August 19th, but her labor became the subject of a media frenzy last month when false reports claimed she had already given birth.

Stories have also surfaced claiming that Jolie will go into labor later this month. But Jolie herself insists she’ll never give away the actual date. She tells Vanity Fair magazine, “I don’t want to say. If I do say, people will start stressing on our due date.”

While the rest of the world speculated – falsely! – about the birth of Angelina Jolie’s twins, Brad Pitt slipped out of France on Tuesday.

His destination? Art Basel in Switzerland, considered the premiere international art show for modern and contemporary works.

“Yes, Brad Pitt visited and had lunch here,” communications manager Peter Vetsch told People.

Although the show was not yet open to the public, Pitt (a notorious art buff) enjoyed a special showing of stylish furniture from the ’40s, ’50s and ’60s at the Design Miami gallery.

“Brad asked questions that only an art expert would ask,” Wendelin Lang, who organized the exhibit, told Blick, a daily Swiss newspaper. “You can feel that he is an absolute maniac.”

After the furniture shopping, Pitt reportedly enjoyed lunch – a tuna burger and two Coke Zeros – in the Art Collectors Lounge. “He looked deep into the eyes of the staff,” his server, Erna Zürcher Lüscher, told the paper. “His charisma is just super.”

The actor and Jolie – who are expecting twins this summer – recently signed a long-term lease for a chateau on the French Riviera.

After the visit, Vetsch said, Pitt hopped an evening flight back home – just in time for Jolie’s 33rd birthday on Wednesday.

Angelina Jolie didn’t want to fall in love with another actor after two failed marriages – she was looking for love with an aid worker.

The Tomb Raider star was adamant never to date anyone on the Hollywood party circuit after her marriages to Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller failed.

But Jolie fell for Pitt – after her dreams of finding Mr. Average faded.

She tells the July edition of Vanity Fair, “After my last divorce, I said I was absolutely going to marry somebody in another field, an aid worker or something.

“Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for, you know?
“I don’t see him as an actor. I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies.”

The bidding for the Brangelina twins pics has reached a whopping $15 million — and will probably go a lot higher.

Our magazine spies tell us only People and OK! are left standing in the bidding war. One spy says the pics are so valuable they would “print blank pages” the rest of year to get them.

Can a weekly mag actually recoup all that cash? Probably not, but it doesn’t matter. The prestige is what counts.

No deal has been inked yet. Brad’s peeps didn’t return our calls. A People rep says, “We’d love to see the photos in People. We wish the family well” OK!’s rep refused to address a dollar figure, but admits they’d be “foolish” not to make a play for the photos.

Soon-to-be father of six Brad Pitt is one busy daddy – as he’s been named designer of a green hotel and resort in Dubai.

“Whilst acting is my career, architecture is my passion,” Pitt, who is also building affordable, environmentally-friendly homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward, said in a statement. The 44-year-old movie star will be part of a team of design consultants for the 800-room, five-star hotel spearheaded by L.A.-based architecture firm GRAFT.

“Selecting this development as my first major construction project has been a simple decision,” Pitt added. “It will underpin not only my values for environmentally-friendly architecture, but also embrace my career in entertainment.”

Contrary to a flurry of recent reports that Angelina Jolie has delivered her twins, People confirms that the rumors are not true.

“Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France,” a rep for the actress tells PEOPLE.

Jolie and Brad Pitt recently signed a long-term lease for a chateau on the French Riviera. The 32-year-old – already mom to to Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2 – also revealed to reporters at the Cannes International Film Festival that she was considering giving birth in France – and that French is the “second language” in the family’s home.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are doubtful their love of children can ever be fulfilled – so they are planning to care for foster kids once their own brood grow up.

Jolie and Pitt have three adopted children, Maddox, six, Pax, four, Zahara, three, as well as biological daughter Shiloh, two – and the actress is currently pregnant with twins.

But despite their soon-to-be six-strong family unit, Jolie insists she will always want to have kids around – so she is contemplating opening up her home to care for foster children.

She says, “We keep thinking, ‘Is there ever going to be a time when we don’t have kids in the house?’ Maybe we’ll eventually start a foster home or something. We have a clinic that handles children so there are ways of looking after kids without actually physically having them in your home and we’re doing more and more of that.”

And Jolie insists that despite having two babies on the way, she would still like to have more children of her own.

She adds, “I’d like to do it again.”
