Blake Lively just turned 21, but she still seems stuck in the ’20s.
The Gossip Girl starlet and all her castmates celebrated with a 1920s-themed bash at the Palace Hotel, natch. The birthday girl planned the entire soiree herself.
“I love to plan parties,” Blake told Life & Style. “That would be my career if I wasn’t an actress.”
Soulful singer Michael Bublé serenaded her with a special version of “Happy Birthday to You,” while guests downed peach mimosas.
Lively, who doesn’t like to drink, toasted with Coca-Cola, instead of the other bubbly beverage.
And any news about Penn Badgley, with whom she’s linked both on and off camera?
“They were very cozy,” according to an onlooker.

Blake Lively’s birthday party is going to be a celebration worthy of her extravagant Gossip Girl alter ego.
The actress will roar in her 21st year with a Jazz Age-themed bash on September 6 in New York. “All the guests have to wear 1920s-style clothing,” says an insider, adding that Blake has some demanding guidelines. “The doormen are checking and will reject those not in theme.”
Blake — who turned 21 on August 25 — also celebrated her big day with cake on the set of her show.

An imposter pretending to be Lindsay Lohan and Blake Lively’s manager is wreaking havoc in New York – by booking parties and shopping sprees for the stars which never take place.
The man, calling himself Roy Cohen, has called exclusive Big Apple boutiques Prada and Gucci to request private store viewing sessions for Lohan and arranged a bash for Lively at the Empire Hotel.
But the New York Post claims neither actress showed up – and Lohan’s publicist is dubbing Cohen a hoax.
Leslie Sloane Zelnick tells the newspaper, “He doesn’t rep Lindsay or Blake and no one knows who the creep is.”

Blake Lively has laughed off rumors of a feud with Ugly Betty star America Ferrera.
Ferrera was seen rolling her eyes as Lively was asked about her TV hit Gossip Girl when the pair appeared together on a news show earlier this month.
The two actresses were promoting new movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, in which they both appear.
But Lively insists she and Ferrera are the best of friends – and she doesn’t blame her for appearing exasperated on the news show.
Lively explains, “I haven’t even heard about it. I don’t ever pay attention to that stuff. She’s one of my best friends in the whole wide world and honestly, when you’re sitting in a room for three hours doing satellite interviews… We were staring at a Post-It (note) with a smiley face, so I think I probably rolled my eyes a hundred times. I’m like, ‘Oh gosh, this thing is still going on?’”

Clumsy Blake Lively caused all sorts of problems on the set of movie sequel The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 – by crashing a moped and stepping on a sea urchin.
The actress was shooting the film in Santorini, Greece and admits her slip-ups and injuries became a running joke among the cast and crew.
She recalls, “I crashed a moped on the first day of shooting into (co-star) America (Ferrera) and into an ancient stone wall.
“I also jumped off a cliff and while I was crawling out (of the sea) – while I had a gimp knee – I stepped on a sea urchin and got, like, 42 sea urchin needles lodged in my foot.”
Lively recalls castmate Amber Tamblyn had a strange way of helping her pal deal with the pain: “Because I was in so much pain and they didn’t have any pain medication there, she was hitting me in the head while the doctor was taking them out. She was like, ‘That’s what they do to dogs.’”

At 28, I know I’m a bit older than the SOTTP crowd, but that won’t stop me from seeing this movie. Okay, so maybe I’m 31. I’m still going to see it!
