Beyonce looks amazing on the July cover of W Magazine!

Beyonce debuted her new single, “1+1″ on last night’s ‘American Idol’ finale. The song, thankfully, doesn’t sound much like the first song she released of the album “Run the World (Girls)”.

The juxtaposing songs are the first shreds of evidence that she’s keeping her promise that a whole new array of sounds will make their way into “4,” which drew inspiration from an abundance of sources.

Along with the band of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, Beyonce said she, “found a lot of inspiration in ’90s R&B; Earth, Wind & Fire; DeBarge; Lionel Richie; Teena Marie.” In addition, she said, “I listened to a lot of Jackson 5 and New Edition, but also Adele, Florence + the Machine, and Prince. Add in my hip-hop influences, and you can hear how broad it is. I also gave myself more freedom to really belt out some songs, and bring soul singing back.”

She’s an amazing performer, I’ll give her that. Too bad I have to watch her in mute because that is the most annoying song I’ve ever heard. What? I said something nice first!

Beyonce launched her new music video today for, ”Run the World (Girls)”. After taking over a year off – she’s back with a bang!

The video takes place in some sort of deserted African nation, where a gang of women are trying to “run the world”? The song is the first single off her upcoming album, “4,” which is set for a June 28th release.

I cannot STAND this song. It is so annoying – she just repeats the same damn line for 4:51 minutes. The video makes the song a little more tolerable, but just barely. After the 3 minute mark I had to mute it and just watch the video because I couldn’t listen to it any longer.

The video is alright. It’s very Beyonce, that’s for sure. The choreography is good – but looks just like the choreography in all her other videos. Body roll – check. Spread legs – check. Shake like you’re having a seizure – check.

And call me crazy – but who’s the white woman with Beyonce’s voice!? Since when does Beyonce look so…white!? She’s almost unrecognizable! That blonde hair, and light skin – combined with smaller looking features (am I crazy?) make her look white! The album cover is below!

Beyonce, 29, wore a skin tight Emilio Pucci gown at last night’s MET Gala. Everything was going fine until the singer tried to head inside the New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

After posing for photos with husband Jay-Z, Beyonce headed towards the stairs – and stopped in her tracks. Jay-Z and a friend had to carry her up the steps into the event.

Beyonce released a music video today in support of Michelle Obama‘s “Let’s Move” campaign to fight obesity.
