I knew Beyonce wore a wig!

Another high note for Beyonce — the coveted cover shot of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. The singer and now movie star (”Dreamgirls”) posed on a Florida beach in a yellow-and-pink bikini by House of Dereon, the fashion label she started with her mother, Tina Knowles. There’s also a photo spread inside. “The Dreamgirl As You’ve Never Seen Her,” a cover headline teases. The 2007 swimsuit edition continues with a music them inside, featuring scantily-clad models posing with Kanye West, Aerosmith, Kenny Chesney, Gnarls Barkley and Panic! At the Disco for the camera of lensman Steve Erle.

Beyonce Knowles told MTV that she’s always been a fan of Shakira. “I’ve always loved her and I’ve always wanted to work with her and the song fits perfectly,” she said.
Beyonce explained the premise of the song: “It basically talks about two women. The same guy is trying to get at both of them but instead of them fighting, they’re saying, ‘He’s a beautiful liar, let’s not fight, let’s stick together – forget him!’ I think it’s a great concept.”

Beyoncé Knowles is giving boyfriend Jay-Z’s basketball franchise a style makeover by designing new outfits for the team’s cheerleaders. The rapper is a part-owner of NBA team the New Jersey Nets and his girlfriend is showing her support by giving fans something sexy to look at on the sidelines. Beyoncé and her mother Tina, who run the House of Dereon fashion line together, have struck a new deal with the Nets to design new outfits for the cheerleaders.
Yea, cause she’s got such great taste and all.

Ya, just keep telling yourself that. Oh PUHLEEZE.
Beyoncé Knowles’ father Mathew is furious the superstar was overlooked at the Golden Globe Awards, accusing the film industry of discriminating against blacks. The singer-turned-actress failed to pick up a single nomination for her role in Dreamgirls, and – despite Golden Globe wins for African-Americans Forest Whitaker, Eddie Murphy, Prince, Jennifer Hudson and the movie itself – Knowles blames his daughter’s omission on racism.
He told reporters after the ceremony on Monday, “Today is MLK’s (Martin Luther King’s) birthday and it saddens me to say that things have not changed for blacks. Working class blacks and blacks in Hollywood are still being discriminated against. We still have a long way to go.”
It couldn’t POSSIBLY have anything to do with the fact that Beyonce didn’t DESERVE to be nominated?
