Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and the Black Eyed Peas are among the megawatt stars set to perform Jan. 31 at the 52nd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, it was announced on Tuesday.
Country cutie Swift, whose eight nods are second only to leading nominee Beyoncé’s 10, will also present at the show, an inside source told People on Tuesday.
Fellow nominees Lady Antebellum (with two nominations) and Maxwell (with six) will also perform on the live CBS telecast, while others are still to be named.
This year, Beyoncé, already a 10-time Grammy winner, is up for Record of the Year (“Halo”), Album of the Year (I Am … Sasha Fierce) and Song of the Year, for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”
Swift’s nominations also include Record of the Year and Song of the Year, for “You Belong With Me,” and Album of the Year, for “Fearless.
Triple Grammy winners the Black Eyed Peas are up for six awards, including Record of the Year, for “I Gotta Feeling,” and Album of the Year, for “The E.N.D.”
Swift’s MTV Video Awards “rival” Kanye West also has six nods, setting the stage for another showdown between the two stars – that is, if West dares to show up.
R&B/pop diva Beyonce leads the field for the 52nd annual Grammy Awards, pulling down 10 nominations and topping bestselling teen country-pop star Taylor Swift’s eight nods.
Pop/hip-hop unit The Black Eyed Peas, R&B vocalist Maxwell and rapper Kanye West all hauled in six nominations, announced by the Recording Academy on Tuesday night. A handful of nominees were revealed during a special show broadcast live in the east from L.A.’s Club Nokia.
Winners in 109 Grammy categories, voted on by members of the Recording Academy, will be announced Jan. 31 at the annual ceremony at L.A.’s Staples Center.

Beyonce’s body is ridiculous in this video – she looks awesome. But to be honest, I’d much rather watch the parodies of her videos than the videos themselves. Her lyrics are beyond stupid. This video was okay, I guess – but I hate the song.
Beyonce and Jay-Z dine at Nello’s restaurant on the Upper East Side where they spend $1,200 on lunch, which includes a bottle of Dom Perignion champagne. To show their appreciation for the service, they leave a hefty $500 tip.
Jay-Z doesn’t think his protege, Kanye West, deserved to be vilified for ambushing Taylor Swift at Sunday night’s MTV VMAs.
“Of course it was rude because it was her moment, but that’s the way he really felt,” Jay-Z, 39, tells BBC Radio 1. West, 32, interrupted Swift’s speech for her best female video award to opine that Jay-Z’s wife, Beyonce, should have won for “Single Ladies.”
Jay-Z goes on on, “I think it was rude, but the way they’re treating him … He’s on the cover of every paper. He didn’t kill anybody. No one got harmed.
Jay-Z admitted his pal’s actions were “inappropriate at the time,” but justifies the diss.
“He’s just a super-passionate person,” he said.
On Tuesday, Swift, 19, announced that she’d forgiven the rapper after he reached out to her.
“Kanye did call me, and he was very sincere in his apology, and I accepted that apology,” she told ABC News Radio.
