Oooooof course she did! For all you Gwyneth haters out there – here’s another story to add to your list! Gwyneth showered her BFF Beyonce with a lavish gift after she gave birth to her baby girl, Blue Ivy™.

What kind of stroller did Beyonce get from pal Gwyneth Paltrow? A Bugaboo, naturally!

Paltrow was among the very first to tweet about the birth of her BFF Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy in early January — and the actress, 38, knew just what to gift the chanteuse and her bundle of joy.

Paltrow treated Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to an all-black Cameleon stroller by Bugaboo; the posh baby-transporter retails for $880. (As it happens, Beyonce, 30, scored one of many smash singles with Destiny’s Child in 1999 with the song “Bugaboo,” about a male suitor who just doesn’t know when to give up.)

Before Blue Ivy’s birth, Beyonce (who made her first post-baby appearance Monday and Tuesday in NYC) snapped up a $3500 NurseryWorks VETRO Lucite crib in NYC for her little one, born at 7 lbs Jan. 7 at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Blue’s crib and Bugaboo will fit right in with her extravagant nursery — a 2,200 square-foot space recently built in the superstar family’s Tribeca apartment.

I do find it interesting that Gwyneth bought Beyonce a stroller. Do you actually SEE Beyonce pushing her baby in a stroller? Won’t she just hire someone to carry her baby everywhere? C’mon, you know you’re with me.

Last night Beyonce made her first public appearance since the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7.

She was at the first of two benefit concerts Jay-Z was performing at. The event, which was held at New York’s Carnegie Hall, promotes the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.

The 30-year-old singer looked stunning in a red dress by Temperley, embroidered Louboutin shoes, a gold Alexander McQueen clutch and bright blue nail polish.

The much-anticipated bundle of joy also got a shout-out from Jay-Z, who performed an emotional rendition of “Glory,” the song he wrote upon his daughter’s arrival into the world (and which features a few seconds of the newborn crying).

“One hand in the air for Blue,” he said as he kicked off the song. When Jay finished, he admitted, “I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one — that was tough.”

The couple later worked the room during the afterparty at Jay-Z’s 40/40 club.

“She made a much bigger effort to say hello to nearly everyone, making rounds around the whole club before joining Jay-Z and guests in the VIP room,” a spy tells Us, which adds that Beyonce skipped the liquor in favor of sucking on lemon wedges instead.

Beyonce‘s been loving her latest role as a mother for about a month now, and as she has gotten settled with baby Blue Ivy, there were rumors that she and Jay-Z have decided on a godmother of their child.

Nope, it wasn’t any of her Destiny’s Child bandmates or even her sister Solange — it was none other than Oprah Winfrey.

Now, it’s Oprah’s best friend Gayle King who has revealed that her buddy has not taken on the responsibility that everyone keeps saying she has.

Gayle King shot down the rumor Friday on the CBS Morning Show, saying “It’s absolutely not true that she’s the godmother.”

Oprah’s bestie said she is fond of the couple but hasn’t even sent them a baby gift yet!

“She’s friends with them, of course, and likes them both very much. She’s working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn’t even had time to send a baby gift because she’s been away.”

Legendary singer Etta James may have not had the nicest things to say about Beyonce when she was living, but Beyonce had nothing but sweet words to share about the late icon in a statement she released about her passing.

James infamously slammed Beyonce in 2009 after Knowles sang “At Last” at Obama’s inauguration .. when Etta said, “That woman he had singing for him, singing my song … she’s going to get her a– whipped.”

Beyonce, however, said it was nothing but a pleasure meeting the bluesy singer:

“I am so fortunate to have met such a queen. Her musical contributions will last a lifetime.”

She continued, “Playing Etta James taught me so much about myself, and singing her music inspired me to be a stronger artist.  When she effortlessly opened her mouth, you could hear her pain and triumph. Her deeply emotional way of delivering a song told her story with no filter. She was fearless, and had guts. She will be missed.”

Beyonce delivered Blue Ivy in a private birthing suite that looks a lot like a 5 star hotel. In fact – it looks NOTHING like a hospital at all. Looks like she gave birth in the middle of a penthouse suite.

Lenox Hill Hospital constructed a suite for VIPs which looks like a Four Seasons penthouse … and the room was christened Saturday when Beyonce gave birth.

TMZ has obtained photos of the room where Blue Ivy came into this world, and it’s baller. There are 4 flat screen TV’s, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls and plush furnishings. And take a look at the bed where Jay Z got some shut eye!

Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ … the suite was not constructed specifically for Beyonce, but it was always intended that Beyonce would be the first patient to use it.

Beyonce took to her website this afternoon to confirm the birth of her baby girl, Blue Ivy. Although there were reports earlier in the day that she delivered via C-Section, Beyonce shot those reports down.

Jay-Z has just confirmed the birth of “the most beautiful girl in the world” – his newborn daughter – with a song.

The song titled “Glory” debuted on his website Life and Times today, just two days after he and Beyonce became parents to their little girl, Blue Ivy.

Even though the couple haven’t released any official statement, his lyrics might suffice. “You’re my child of a child from Destiny’s Child.”

In the song, Jay-Z talks about where the child was conceived (in Paris) and even reveals that Beyonce had a miscarriage at one point.

“Last time the miscarriage was so tragic/We was afraid you’d disappear/But nah baby you magic.”

The song’s refrain is: “The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you. You. Glory.”

The sound of a baby’s cries – perhaps Blue’s – ends the song. The song says it features “B.I.C.” – which would be the initials of Blue Ivy Carter.

It’s the first child for the power couple, who wed in 2008 in a private ceremony after a years-long courtship. Beyonce announced her pregnancy to the world last August at the MTV Video Music Awards with a simple rub of her swollen belly.
