Beyonce is pregnant with her first child, the new Us Weekly reports, and no one was more surprised than the 29-year-old singer herself.

“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”

Still, another insider says that the singer, who is in her first trimester, realizes that “this is a gift from God and she’s so happy.”

Pregnant Christina Applegate’s fiancé, Martyn LeNoble, has let it slip to a pal that the couple is expecting a baby girl in February. “He said he was hoping for a boy, but Christina wanted a girl,” says the insider, who added that Christina has had a tough pregnancy, suffering mood swings, food cravings, insomnia and, already, close to a 25-pound weight gain.

“She complains about clothes not fitting, and that she feels like she’s busting out of her skin.” But Christina, 38, is thrilled at the prospect of having a girl.

Congrats are in order for cycling champ Lance Armstrong: he’s expecting his fifth child!

The 38-year-old athlete and girlfriend Anna Hansen will welcome their second child together this October.

Armstrong announced the news in a novel way: by creating a Twitter account for the unborn kid, “Cincoarmstrong.”

The baby’s first entries: “I got 2 arms, 2 legs, a nickname, and [I’m] 2 inches long. See y’all in October…I’m now the size of a lemon, 3.5 inches long, and weigh 1.5 ounces. And oh yeah, I’m on Twitter.”

Added the child’s dad via his own Twitter. “What to say? Yet another blessing in our lives. I cannot wait!”

The athlete then confirmed the news to his hometown paper, the Austin-American Statesmen. The future child’s future name could be Jack or Olivia, the paper reports.

Armstrong and Hansen welcomed son Maxwell Edward 10 months ago. The Tour de France winner and cancer survivor has three kids with ex-wife Kristin: 8-year old twin girls Isabelle and Grace and son Luke, 11.

Celeb chef Jamie Oliver and wife Jools “are delighted to announce they are expecting their fourth child,” they said in a statement.

The couple is bound to give their newest addition an imaginative name: the baby-to-be joins three sisters named Petal Blossom Rainbow (born last April), Poppy Honey, 7, and Daisy Boo, 6.

The restauranteur, cookbook author and TV star, 34, celebrates his tenth wedding anniversary with Jools this June.

It’s a girl for Christina Milian and husband The-Dream.

The singer-actress delivered daughter Violet on Feb. 26, her rep confirms to PEOPLE, saying the girl has “a full head of hair.”

This is the first child for Milian, 28, and the fourth for singer-songwriter and record producer, 31, who has three children with his ex-wife, singer Nivea.

The couple – who wed in September – announced the pregnancy in October.
