Ashton Kutcher can now add “assistant coach” to his resumé just under actor, producer and renowned prankster.
The actor, 30, who played football at his high school in Iowa, is a new assistant coach for the freshman football team at L.A.’s Harvard-Westlake School.
Head of Athletics Audrius Bardzukas says that Kutcher, who is pals with head coach Scott Wood, didn’t benefit from having friends in high places. Like any other job candidate, he was interviewed.
“I asked him why he wanted to coach. He said he’s a dad, he has three daughters, and none of them are into sports. He loves football, and he said he’d always wanted to coach,” Barzdukas told People.
Kutcher, who will attend practice five days a week, helped his team start off the season well on Friday, when they won their first game, 21-12, in an upset. “He’s put in the time to learn our schemes and systems, and so far he’s been a pleasant surprise as a coach,” says Barzdukas. “He’s a great communicator.”
So, is he on the payroll? “We don’t have volunteer coaches,” says Barzdukas, “but I can tell you he’s not in it for the money.”

Rumer Willis is convinced life in her unconventional household would make a great reality TV show if the Willis-Moore-Kutcher clan ever chose to let the cameras in.
The young actress shares a Hollywood home with her sisters, mother Demi Moore and step-dad Ashton Kutcher – and her dad Bruce Willis is a regular visitor too.
She insists they are a tight unit – despite Moore’s divorce from Willis – and a glimpse behind their closed door would amaze TV viewers.
Rumer tells the upcoming edition of PageSix magazine, “We all have so much fun together. I’m so lucky. My dad and Ashton get along – it’s not weird. There’s no jealousy or drama. If we weren’t all entirely morally opposed to doing a reality show, I guarantee it would be the best-selling reality show ever.”

Justin Timberlake has hit back at Ashton Kutcher’s claims he made trucker caps popular, insisting he sported the style long before the actor did.
The SexyBack hitmaker maintains that he and his William Rast fashion line partner and childhood friend, Trace Ayala, were responsible for making the hats cool.
Timberlake says, “It’s funny. I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before.
“Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen. We just kind of didn’t care. We kind of still don’t.”

Ashton Kutcher is begging his wife Demi Moore to take to the stage on an upcoming gameshow he is producing.
The new series, called Opportunity Knocks, quizzes family members on how well they know each other.
And Kutcher, who is stepfather to Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah, 14 – Moore’s daughters with action star Bruce Willis – is convinced his handsome Hollywood family would make the perfect team.
He says, “She’d be a genius. I actually think that in general the moms on this show are going to do a lot better than everybody else in the family.”

Ashton Kutcher’s scruffy new look has raised a few eyebrows, but it turns out the actor is sporting facial hair for religious reasons.
“Unlike what people think, Ashton is not growing a beard for a role,” an insider tells In Touch. “He is growing it because of the Jewish and Kabbalah holiday called Lag Ba’Omer. There is actually meaning behind it.”
The holiday, which fell on May 23, represents a break during the 49 days of mourning between Passover and Shavuot, and is celebrated with bonfires to mark the passing of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Traditionally, men shave their beards on the festive day, but it looks like Ashton decided to keep his!
Ashton, who had a bit of scruff in April, showed off a beard at the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball with wife, Demi Moore, on May 31 in LA.

Ashton Kutcher is contemplating adopting a child with his wife, actress Demi Moore.
The 30-year-old is stepfather to Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah, 14 – Moore’s daughters with action star Bruce Willis – and the actor insists he dreams of “someday” expanding their brood with children of his own.
But the Hollywood heartthrob admits he hasn’t ruled out adoption, since he has always been drawn to the idea of taking in an orphaned child.
He says, “I have thought about adopting a kid my whole life. When I was eight I had a friend called Terry and one day he told me he was adopted.
“He said his parents told him there was a more special bond between them because they picked him. I thought that was pretty profound and I would be open to the idea.”
