Ashton Kutcher is contemplating adopting a child with his wife, actress Demi Moore.

The 30-year-old is stepfather to Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and Tallulah, 14 - Moore’s daughters with action star Bruce Willis - and the actor insists he dreams of “someday” expanding their brood with children of his own.

But the Hollywood heartthrob admits he hasn’t ruled out adoption, since he has always been drawn to the idea of taking in an orphaned child.

He says, “I have thought about adopting a kid my whole life. When I was eight I had a friend called Terry and one day he told me he was adopted.

“He said his parents told him there was a more special bond between them because they picked him. I thought that was pretty profound and I would be open to the idea.”

Apparently Ashton Kutcher is taking it on the chin when it comes to being among People’s 100 Most Beautiful People – as he was declared in the issue that went on sale last Friday.

Showing him the page from the magazine when he appeared on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, the host asked Kutcher what it was like to be “one of the most beautiful somethings in People magazine.”

“That’s a pre-beard photo,” was Kutcher’s reaction, also noting that “when I start to grow my beard … I get notches off” being judged beautiful.

Modeling his scruff, and brushing the side of his face with his hand, Kutcher, 30, said, “I can’t get hair to grow in this region.” DeGeneres suggested that what he had was a “beard combover.”

As it is, Kutcher declared that he was more interested in making People’s Sexiest Man Alive list, something he claimed both he and Patrick Dempsey are lobbying for.

“Once you’re beautiful, you can sort of lean into sexy,” Kutcher philosophized.

As for his wife Demi Moore’s reaction to all this, Kutcher told DeGeneres, “I’m her Sexiest Man.”

Ashton Kutcher was bombarded with love tokens from hundreds of girls when he first started dating actress Demi Moore - leaving the actress less than impressed.

The Dude, Where’s My Car? funnyman, who started his relationship with the 45-year-old in 2003, hated the amount of attention their blossoming romance attracted.

But when the pair began dating, fans would stop by his Los Angeles home bearing gifts - much to Moore’s disdain.

He says, “For a couple of months, at midnight the doorbell would ring, and a car full of girls would stop by to say ‘hello’. My room-mate intercepted most of the notes and stuffed animals, but occasionally, Demi answered the door. That didn’t go down too well.”
