What is going on in the world! Just yesterday I was posting an article on Joe Jonas in Details Magazine, where he raved about girlfriend Ashley Greene! He said, “It feels good.  I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first.  She understands my busy schedule.  She’ll fly out to my shows—she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce.”

But I guess they’re not feeling the love anymore, because according to US Magazine, they’ve already split!

Two sources confirm to UsMagazine.com that the Jonas Brothers singer, 21, has parted ways with Twilight star Ashley Greene, whom he began dating in summer 2010.

Adds one insider: “They broke up shortly before her birthday, then got back together.”

(When contacted by Us, a rep for Jonas had no comment on his personal life.)

Indeed, Jonas organized Greene’s 24th birthday blowout at West Hollywood’s STK on Feb. 18. “He wanted to make sure everything was perfect,” another insider told Us at the time. “He was really sweet and conscientious.”

What a difference a few weeks makes. Explains the second source of the sudden split: “Joe wasn’t that into it.”

Maybe Ashley couldn’t deal with the whole no-sex, wait-until-marriage thing. You think he really stayed celibate? Hmm, I wonder.

On Saturday night, Ashley Greene celebrated her 24th birthday at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas. The Twilight princess sported a black strapless cocktail dress… and later in the night… a gold Chanel charm bracelet! And guess who gave the glamor piece to her?

No one but boy toy, Joe Jonas.

Ashley describes the gift-giving moment to People:

“The funny thing about it is when I got it, my boyfriend said it’s vintage Coach – and I was like ‘Thanks so much.’ And then I put it on and was like, ‘Oh my god, this is Chanel,’ ” Greene said, letting out a scream.

“It was very cute and sweet and adorable to me because my boyfriend gave it to me,” she said. “Coach, Chanel, [it] makes no difference to him … [But] I absolutely love it because he knows what I like.”

OMG! Joe Jonas doesn’t even know the difference between Coach and Chanel! How hilarious-slash-adorable!

According to People, Ashley’s birthday bash was designed a la Candyland with oversized lollipops and and a three-tiered birthday cake!

Chanel + Candyland + Joe Jonas = best birthday gift ever?

Not for Ashley Greene.

“I know this is cheesy,” she said, “but the biggest gift to me was having my best friends fly in to celebrate with me.”

Ashley Greene, who has been dating Joe Jonas for less than six months now, might have been ready to get hitched. In an interview for the January 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, the actress playing Alice Cullen on “Twilight Saga” series shared her thought on marriage and hinted the possibility.

Speaking about marriage, the star of “The Apparition” said, “I’m indifferent about marriage. I think sometimes people get married so they can say they have that person forever, but a ring doesn’t ensure that you’ll stay together.” Despite the lack of interest, she added, “Watch, now that I’ve said that I will be the first of my friends to get married!”

In another news, Ashley has recently helped her “Twilight Saga” co-star Kellan Lutz in celebrating his YRB magazine cover and new movie “Meskada”. Bringing along her Jonas Brothers boyfriend, she showed up at an after-party held at Los Angeles’ hot spot Voyeur on Tuesday night, November 30.

E! News reported that Ashley and Joe were carded by the security. They were allowed to get inside after showing their ID card. The incident didn’t ruined the pair’s party mood though. A source revealed that after chatting with Kellan, they moved into a private VIP booth where they were cuddling and sipping vodka cocktails before leaving at about 12:30 A.M.

Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene were leaving the Middle East when they got into trouble with security at the airport recently.

The twosome got past one security checkpoint, but the second one stopped them. As it turns out, Joe had forgotten that he left some cheese cutting knives in his carry-on bag.

Us Magazine reports:

“We were going from the Middle East to New York, so [there was] tons of security, tons of screenings,” Greene, 23, recalled on Lopez Tonight Tuesday. “We got through one, surprisingly enough.”

By the time they reached the second checkpoint, the Twilight actress says airport security “looked at us with these stern faces like, ‘What’s in your bag?’”

Remembering that Jonas, an avid cook, had purchased a cheese-cutting knife set during their trip, Greene asked her beau of four months if he’d accidentally put them in the wrong bag.

Jonas’ response: “Whoopsies!”

“Whoopsies doesn’t cut it,” Greene laughed. “We were going to get arrested!”

After explaining the mix-up, security allowed Jonas to stow his knife set under the plane. “It was embarrassing,” Greene added.

Uh oh! Glad they averted a crisis!
