Ashley Greene just wrapped up filming her new pilot, ‘Americana’ in New York City.

On the new show, the ‘Twilight’ actress plays a fashion designer. She’s already learned a thing or two from her character!

“Pat Field is the costume designer and she took a vintage coat and turned it inside out and then belted it, which gave it a really vintage distressed look, which was great. “

What are Ashley’s fashion must-have’s? “DKNY skinny jeans are always a staple for me, and they have amazing (and actually reversible) shearling coats that I’ve been wearing a lot.”

And how about music? , “I like Pandora.com a lot because I just plug in a song and it goes. I’ve gone back to Ray LaMontagne a lot lately, Taylor Swift’s new song on the ‘Hunger Games’ soundtrack is so good, and I’m a huge fan of Bruno Mars.”

Ashley Greene was spotted filming the pilot for her new drama ‘Americana’ in Soho earlier this morning.

The ‘Twilight’ actress’ new show will focus on legendary design icon Robert Soulte. For her role in the ABC show, Ashley will play Alice Clarke, an aspiring designer, whose shocking arrival turns the Soulte family inside out.

Ashley Greene just finished up a guest stint on ‘Pan Am‘ and has now been cast in the new ABC drama ‘Americana‘. Ashley will again be playing a character named Alice, and again – right up Ashley’s alley – Alice is all about fashion.

 Without a Trace‘s Anthony LaPaglia stars as legendary fashion designer Robert Soulter in the soapy drama revolving around his family business.

Greene will again play Alice, a new designer who joins Soulter’s business and whose arrival turns the company — and his family — on its ear.

Lost‘s Emilie De Raven will play Robert’s daughter, with Natalie Mendoza and Ken Olin also starring in the ABC Studios project.

Ashley is obsessed with fashion and even filmed a documentary type movie called Fashion Forward: Making It, so I’m sure playing a designer will be a lot of fun for her!

Ashley Greene, arguably the cutest vampire on the planet — or at least in the Twilight series — stopped by ‘Live with Kelly!’ this morning. She signed autographs for adoring fans before talking about having to balance out her party lifestyle with her serious film career.

“I was like ‘Oh, I can go out and do this and do that,’ and it took me about five seconds to realize ‘If you do that, you’re not going to book jobs, and there are 10,000 girls who want your job.’ It’s all glitz and glamour in Hollywood, and you want to be part of it. And the deadly thing is that you meet people who do have the money and do have fame and are in a position to not spend every waking moment working toward getting a job, and it’s easy to feel like you can do it too, when really you haven’t earned it. You can either socialize or you can study your script, and luckily I learned that pretty quick!”

As these pictures seem to suggest, looks like Twilight actress Ashley Greene has found herself a new man, in Broadway hunk Reeve Carney.

Carney is the actor playing Spider-Man in the Broadway play, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

The duo were enjoying the Rockefeller Tree Lighting in New York earlier this week.
