Singers Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz leave the London hotel with their son Bronx Mowgli . They jump on a tour bus to head to Boston, the next stop on Fall Out Boy’s concert series.

Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Tony Romo stepped out together Saturday night.

The two joined her sister Ashlee and parents Joe and Tina for a pre-Easter dinner at Eva Longoria Parker’s restaurant, Beso, in West Hollywood.

“You look gorgeous tonight, Jessica,” a photographer told her. “Thank you,” she replied.

As Joe exited the restaurant, photographers asked him whether they were celebrating Jessica’s engagement to Romo. He smiled and replied, “It’s Easter.”

Over the weekend, Jessica also sent her fans an encouraging message on her official fan site.

She wrote:

“Why do we let the sun SET with its beauty, then find ourselves ugly.

Didn’t God, whoever he may be to you, create both? If a sunset is beautiful, then so are we.

Love yourself morning, noon, and night. Sunrise. Sunset.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has posted a new photo of her 4-month-old son on her Twitter page.

“I present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!” she writes.

Her afternoons with Bronx are about to get a little shorter.Next week, she begins shooting the pilot of CW’s updated version of Melrose Place.

She plays a small-town girl who moves to L.A. with a secret past.”I think it will be awesome,” her husband Pete Wentz recently told Usmagazine.com. “I told her that I hope she gets to play the bitch.”

The countdown to the inevitable Pete Wentz cameo has begun!!

Multiple sources confirm to Entertainment Weekly that singer-songwriter-sometime actress Ashlee Simpson has become the latest tenant of The CW’s in-the-works Melrose Place reboot.

The onetime 7th Heaven star will play small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within. In other words, the little tramp’s Sydney.

Simpson joins a cast that so far includes Katie Cassidy (as ambitious publicist Ella), Michael Rady (as aspiring filmmaker Jonah), and, if there is a God, original Melrose icon Heather Locklear, who would be slipping back into Amanda Woodward’s office microminis. “Both sides are talking,” whispers EW.com’s Melrose mole of Locklear. “It’s looking good.”

Melrose 2.0, which is considered a lock to land a spot on The CW’s fall sked (most likely on Tuesdays after 90210), is being shepherded by Smallville’s Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin. Oscar winner Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) has been tapped to direct the pilot.

Now for the big question: Did Simpson score the part that Mischa Barton had been circling? EW.com’s sources say no. That means the ex-O.C. siren is in talks to play straight-arrow med student Lauren or revoltingly sweet schoolteacher Riley.

Together Pete and Ashlee led in the countdown. Pete then grabbed the magnum bottle of Vuvue and started sipping on it, but Ashlee had another idea. She grabbed him, brought him close and planted a very public NYE French kiss.
