Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz attended the Z100 Jingle Ball on Friday & the rocker couple clearly only have eyes for each other as the New Jersey Nets played the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden Saturday.

I really think they’ll last- they seem like they’ve got the staying power … then again, I hoped the same thing for her & Ryan Cabrera! Either way, she’s my favorite Simpson sister!

Apparently, Joe Simpson has banned daughter Ashlee’s boyfriend, Pete Wentz from the Simpson family Christmas celebration!

Joe Simpson was previously a Baptist preacher until becoming his daughters manager and has problems with Pete’s previous interview for Blender magazine in which he said that he claimed to have kissed other men in the past.

Joe was skeptical about the relationship between his daughter and Wentz from the start,” an insider told Star magazine. “There is a rumor that Pete tried to commit suicide, but with the news of his possible bisexuality, Joe blew his top.”

The news has not gone down well with Ashlee. “She is upset, but she values her dad’s opinions and has agreed.”

I am not a big fan of Pete Wentz. I can’t really explain why. I do not think this couple will last, but it won’t be the first time I’m wrong if they do!

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy fame and Ashlee Simpson’s boyfriend fame, has denied rumors that he had a order put against a band in Canada that made fun of his girlfriend. Jason Darr, of the band Neurosonic says that he received a letter from Wentz asking him to stop playing the song “So Many People”.  The song apparently makes fun of Ashlee’s SNL lip syncing appearance.

“I’ve never heard of [the song]. Pete’s never heard of it. No one’s ever heard of it,” says the rep, Bob McLynn. “Pete’s not the kind of guy who would do a cease or desist with anything. He believes in artistic freedom.”

Darr is saying that he meant the comment in good fun.

“Anyone silly enough to believe I was serious about the comment … has no sense of humor,” Darr tells PEOPLE. “The song is tongue in cheek, and it was mostly meant to blow off steam about a subject that is laughable at best.

He adds, “It’s not meant to be malicious.”

So Ashlee Simpson is denying the allegations that she is a regular user of Botox in order to keep her face wrinkle free. I say that I don’t believe this. She is a fan of the artificial means of beauty improvement! She doesn’t even look like the person that we were first introduced to as Jessica’s little sister.
Of course, a rep for the singer is denying that this is true saying, “Ashlee has never had Botox in her life,” the rep said in a statement released exclusively to Access Hollywood. “She credits her eyebrows to her makeup artist who is a whiz with the tweezer.”

“When someone is smiling, certainly when they are smiling genuinely, you would expect a slight crinkle around the eyes, which I don’t see,” facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Levine, who does not treat Simpson, told Access. “So I would have to expect that she has had some Botox to that area.”

So where did Ashlee Simpson celebrate her 23rd birthday over the weekend? Her parents’ house, of course! The singer held an ’80s-themed party on Saturday, and more than 200 guests showed up -including sister Jessica, Wilmer Valderrama, Kenna and, of course, boyfriend Pete Wentz, who was the prom king to Ashlee’s queen as they danced to Bryan Adams’ “Everything I Do.” “Now we can say we are high school sweethearts!” the Fall Out Boy bassist told People. He also made a wisecrack to the mag, saying he and his girlfriend take the same amount of time to get ready to go out “because I’m actually just her purse.” But apparently Saturday night didn’t totally exhaust the couple -the following night, they went to the Hollywood Style Awards at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.

Brace yourselves people……Ashlee Simpson has gotten a nose job! It has now been confirmed by her dad, Joe Simpson!

In an interview with Fox News, Joe says he had no control over Ashlee’s decision to undergo rhinoplasty.

I’m so glad that he cleared this up because it has been keeping me up at night, every night!

“Girls have their own ideas,” he shrugged. “Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured.”

Why does every person that get plastic surgery have to think of some lame “medical” excuse on to why they get the surgery. This is about as believable as her not singing live because she had acid reflux…..ok….. I so want to be adopted into their family so when I don’t show up for work each day, Joe can call with some excuse for me. He’s better than a 6th grader attempting to get out of school at making stuff up!
