Anne Hathaway tells the Hollywood Reporter, “I really want to have a baby”

This week’s Hollywood Reporter features an “Actress Roundtable”, which includes Naomi Watts, Helen Hunt, Sally Field, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cottilard, Amy Adams and of course, Anne Hathaway. The actresses sat down with the Hollywood Reporter, and talked about what it was like working in Hollywood, and more.

Here’s some of what Anne had to say, via Celebitchy:

Anne’s biggest fear: “I always think I’m terrible. So it’s always a relief when I find out that I wasn’t. I’ve had roles where I realized that I was in way over my head — and that is my biggest fear. My biggest fear is overreaching. I have been in situations where I felt swamped, and it’s turned out really well; and I’ve had other situations where I’ve had to walk off the film after five minutes because I realized I was in way over my head.

Walking out of her films: “Yeah. I’ve had a couple of films that I just can’t watch. The experience that I’m thinking of — and I will not say which one — I tried to get out of it because I just knew from a technical standpoint I wasn’t going to have enough time to prep and I just talked myself into it. It was just too good of an opportunity to pass up and I thought, “I can get there, I can do this.” And when you don’t feel that you got there, it’s always going to just gnaw at you.”

On hosting the Oscars: “Oh, scars. I went into it with a lot of trust and a lot of hope, and I had a blast doing it. And I realized afterwards, I played to the house; it’s a 3,500-seat theater, so I was just shooting energy to the back of it and it was like a party! It was great! And I think it looked slightly manic and “hyper-cheerleadery” onscreen. But I have no regrets about doing it. Oh God, no [I didn’t watch a tape]! Whether or not it was an actual failure, it was perceived as a massive failure.”

Annie wants babies: “I really want to have a baby, and my husband and I are like, ‘Where are we gonna live?’”

From the sounds of it Anne will definitely be getting herself knocked up soon. Sources tell US Weekly that she’s very eager to be a momma, and that it will be happening soon.  After ‘Les Miserables’ comes out on Christmas, she should be able to relax a bit!

Anne Hathaway covers the December issue of Vogue Magazine!

Anne Hathaway covers the December issue of Vogue Magazine, and Annie Leibovitz shot the pictures! (Am I the only one who isn’t crazy about these photos? Annie could have done better, if you ask me.)

Anne is obviously promoting her new movie, ‘Les Miserables’, and is gunning for that Oscar nomination. The interview that goes along with the cover is very heavy on the ‘Les Mis’ talk.

Here are some highlights from the interview via Celebitchy:

Anne on cutting her hair off: “I love the short-haired lifestyle,” Hathaway tells me with a laugh (she laughs a lot). “It’s awesome that I was able to go for a hike right before I came here to meet you, quickly wash my hair, and now it’s dry.” The only downside, she says, is having to get her hair cut every three weeks. “But I’m turning 30, and—I hope this isn’t obnoxious to say—I feel prettier, and much more myself. I guess I just feel much more satisfied with less now.”

Pres. Obama called Anne “the best thing” in The Dark Knight Rises: “I’m a blusher, and just being inches from him, I went scarlet from the tips of my toes to the tops of my ears.”

Auditioning for Les Mis: “I knew that someone was going to have to go in there and do something pretty special to unseat me,” she says. “Sometimes you leave a room and you feel like maybe you’ve left the door open a crack. This time, I knew that I had slammed it shut behind me.”

Losing weight for the role: Before the start of shooting, she went on a strict cleanse and lost ten pounds, which in the early scenes of the film gives her a gossamer quality. She then took two weeks off and lost another fifteen pounds by following a near-starvation diet, consisting of two thin squares of dried oatmeal paste a day. “I had to be obsessive about it—the idea was to look near death,” she recalls. “Looking back on the whole experience—and I don’t judge it in any way—it was definitely a little nuts. It was definitely a break with reality, but I think that’s who Fantine is anyway.”

On her wedding: “Oh, my God, I had a blast. Our friends stayed and partied and danced till really late.”

She wants to be a mom: “And now, of course, with me having this beyond-my-wildest-dreams success in my own career—and beyond the success, the joy I take just getting to be an actor—knowing what that must have been like for her to put that aside for the good of her children. Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it’s a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I’ll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can’t wait to meet them.” For now, she feels as if she’s right where she’s meant to be. “I’d feel a little silly and overly dramatic to say that this feels like destiny. But to have this come full circle in such a spectacular way—it’s making me very happy… OK, it feels a little like destiny.”

Do you think Anne might finally get that Oscar? I, for one, cannot WAIT to see the movie. I think it’s going to be really good, I have high hopes!

Anne Hathaway and her husband arrive back home after their honeymoon!

Anne Hathaway and her new husband Adam Schulman are back from their honeymoon!

The couple smiled as they landed at LAX on Sunday night.

The Dark Knight Rises star and her actor-jewelry designer hubby reportedly traveled to Europe after their Sept. 29 nuptials in Big Sur, Calif. The twosome—who have been together since 2008—exchanged vows in front of 150 family and friends at a private estate in the coastal community.

“Anne was ecstatic with how everything turned out and so in love with Adam. She was walking on air and never stopped smiling,” an eyewitness told E! News of the picturesque “I do’s”. “He was doting on her, rubbing her back and helping her with her dress every step she took.”

Anne Hathaway to donate the proceeds from her wedding pictures to gay marriage advocacy groups!

Anne Hathaway married Adam Shulman last month, and now it’s been reported that she will be donating some of the proceeds from the sale of her wedding photos to marriage equality groups.

According to The Advocate, “Hathaway is doing her part to ensure that same-sex couples across the country can enjoy a fairytale wedding like hers,” Adam Polaski at Freedom to Marry is quoted as saying. “This week, she announced that she’ll be donating some of the sales from her wedding photographs to non-profits advocating for marriage for same-sex couples, including Freedom to Marry. We thank Hathaway adn Shulman for their support and appreciate their decision to take the opportunity of their nuptials to speak out about why marriage matters.”

The “Devil Wears Prada” star, who will next be seen in the highly-anticipated movie musical “Les Miserables,” reportedly grew up wanting to become a nun, but she says she shunned Catholicism after she learned her older brother, Michael, was gay.

“The whole family converted to Episcopalianism after my elder brother came out,” she told British GQ. “Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?”

Accepting an award from the Human Rights Campaign in 2008, Hathaway once again spoke of her experience with a gay sibling. “In my household, being gay was, and is, no big deal,” she said. “When my brother came out, we hugged him, said we loved him, and that was that.”

Anne Hathaway gets married, here are pictures from her ceremony!

Anne Hathaway married her actor-jeweler boyfriend Adam Shulman on Saturday night.

The couple were married at the scenic Big Sur on the California coast.

“The wedding was lovely and Anne looked gorgeous,” according to PEOPLE. The actress, 29, wore a custom Valentino gown. “She looked very pretty.”

Like the wedding’s backdrop, the natural, scenic Big Sur on the California coast, Hathaway’s look seemed otherwise understated. The Dark Knight Rises star kept her cropped pixie cut from Les Misérables for the big day, forgoing any hair extensions. She wore no jewelry, says the source. To accessorize, she donned a 1920s-inspired headband attached to a simple veil.

Also low-key: the guest list.

“It was just friends and family,” adds the source. “No movie stars. There were only a few people in the business there, like her stunt double.”

Still, the reception featured plenty of personal touches, including an all-vegan menu similar to the fare at their N.Y.C. engagement party last February, months after Shulman, 30, popped the question in November. The 150-plus guests, surrounded by more than $100,000 worth of flowers (arranged by the celeb-savvy The Velvet Garden florist), were treated to tunes from the San Francisco-based jazz trio Americano Social Club.

Event planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove created a fairy-tale weekend for the couple which began Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn & Spa, where a nearby private estate was secured for the ceremony.

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman walk around and kiss in Los Angeles

Anne Hathaway stepped out with her fiance Adam Shulman yesterday afternoon, and stole a quick kiss while waiting at a traffic light. The pair are back in Los Angeles while Anne is on break from promoting The Dark Knight Rises. She’ll soon be back on the road, however, to promote her new movie Les Miserables, which releases on December 14.

I honestly cannot wait for Les Miserables. Musicals (when done right) are some of my favorite movies. When done wrong, however (Rock of Ages anyone?) they can be some of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.

Here’s to hoping the movie will blow us away! The December 14 release date is a good sign. This month is usually reserved for some of the year’s biggest movies.
