I love me some Topher Grace! What do I love even more? 80′s movies! This movie, also starring Anna Faris (love her!) looks great!
The movie looks like Topher will be reprising his role as Eric Forman, a grad who isn’t really going anywhere with his life. This isn’t a huge surprise, considering the movie written by Jackie and Jeff Filgo – the writers and producers of That 70′s Show.
The movie comes out March 4, 2011. Watch the trailer above!
Trivia: At around 1:38 – the man proposing to Anna Faris is her husband, Chris Pratt!
Anna Faris recalls one Wednesday when a sexy text message left her red-faced. She meant the message to go to her husband, but instead, it was accidentally sent to her father!
“One time I was sending him a text, and I accidentally sent it to my dad,” the Yogi Bear actress, 34, says on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show scheduled to air Tuesday.
The message in question? “I can’t wait to see you in bed tonight,” she wrote.
“We used to have a spicy relationship,” Faris says. “Now this is really going to embarrass my mom that I told you that story.”
And although that may have been the only time her racy text message didn’t make it to her husband, she says she had another near mishap.
“There was a close call with my husband’s nephew, who’s like 9 years old,” she says. “I know. We’ve stopped now.”
Anna Faris got animated on the set of “What’s Your Number?” in Boston, Massachusetts today. Anna plays a character that looks back at her ex-boyfriends wondering if she missed her one true love. Anna has a line of hunks to play her ex-boyfriends such as Chris Evans (pictured below), Zachary Quinto and the list goes on. So who will Anna’s leading man end up being?
Anna Faris and Jennifer Garner: not two actresses you would expect to see in a film together. But Pajiba has news that just that is set to happen. The long in-production film “The Bachelorette Party” finally has its cocktails stirring, and both Anna and Jennifer are set to star.
The movie is being pitched as the female version of “The Hangover,” but honestly it’s sounding a bit lamer. The assumption is that “The Bachelorette Party” has been dredged out of production hell after the success of “The Hangover,” and to be perfectly frank that is never a good sign. What make films like “The Hangover” a success is their unique and special qualities, not the fact that it was a seeming “winning formula.”
Pajiba states the premise as this: A high-school teacher recently left at the altar must now send off her uptight cousin with a huge bachelorette bash. The cousin is marrying the teachers best male friend. During a drunken bachelorette party, the uptight cousin betrays her fiance with a drunken indiscretion, leaving the teacher to decide where her loyalties lie.
It seems a bit obvious who will be playing whom. Film School Rejects pointed out that if Jennifer Garner is to play the high-school teacher, it will be almost exactly the same one as her character in “Valentine’s Day.” But Pajiba seems to think Jennifer would be more likely to play the uptight cousin — maybe based on her uptight character filmography?
I think the only way this movie could be a success is for both Anna and Jennifer to get outside their comfort zones. It seems too easy to categorize both into their various styles of comedy, so it would be nice for Jennifer’s sugary sweet acting and Anna’s tendency towards playing a hot mess to get mixed and matched. It would be great to see Jennifer Garner go nuts onscreen.
The script is written by Karen Lutz, the woman responsible for “The House Bunny” and “The Ugly Truth” and who Pajiba describes as “Satan.”
I am so excited!!! Ryan and Anna were comic genius in Just Friends (above), which remains my favorite comedy of all time!!
Universal Pictures has acquired “TMI,” a comic vehicle for Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris.
Scripted by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Marc Klein, the comic premise is that while honesty is the best policy for a relationship, “too much information” might not be the best thing.
Reynolds, who is coming off “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and “The Proposal,” next stars as the title character in the Martin Campbell-directed “Green Lantern.”
“TMI” is a possible candidate to follow that superhero effort.
