So basically starring in ‘Two and a Half Men’ makes you a crazy person.

Remember sweet little Angus T. Jones, the youngest star of ‘Two and a Half Men?’ What was once a sweet little boy has turned into…..  well, an interesting adult.

It’s been almost a year since he left the hit CBS sitcom, and he’s traded Hollywood for Jesus.

Angus, 20, was the highest paid child actor in TV history back in 2010, when he was earning $300,000 per episode. He left last year, at the end of the tenth season after making controversial comments about the show, and how it didn’t mesh with his Christian values.

Here’s what Angus looks like today. You think it’s the TV show that makes stars like Angus and Charlie Sheen go crazy?

In November, 2012, Angus sat with The Forerunner Chronicles, and discussed why he wanted to get closer to his Christian beliefs. He said “If you watch ‘Two and a Half Men,’ please stop watching it. I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’, I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.”

The actor now lives in Colorado and attends the University of Colorado in Boulder, and he visits churches all across the country, speaking about his beliefs.

“It was difficult for me to be on the show and be part of something that was making light of topics in our world where there are really problems for a lot of people,” Jones told Houston,Texas, television station KHOU. “I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t OK with it and I was still doing it.”

Miley Cyrus to replace Angus T. Jones on ‘Two and a Half Men’!!

Are you kidding me? Is this for real?

Apparently so, according to Celebuzz! Sources tell the site that Miley Cyrus is strongly being considered as a potential replacement for Angus T. Jones, after the actor openly called the hit show “filth” on YouTube.

Why Miley? Apparently the episodes where she guest starred were some of the show’s highest rated episodes!

“There are talks to replace Angus and the perfect person would be Miley Cyrus,” the insider revealed. “The episodes that she appeared on brought in the highest ratings of the season. One possibility is that she could easily be written into the show to go to college.”

Cyrus earned rave reviews for her two-episode gig on the show, in which she played Missi, the daughter of a friend of Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) who has a brief romance with Jake (Jones).

Those who worked with her on set, including Kutcher, were especially impressed by her work ethic, which will only work in Cyrus’ favor, according to the insider.

“When she was on set she, was pleasant and very enjoyable to work with,” they said. “She won everyone over. Now the whispers are growing louder. People involved in the show want Miley to replace Angus.”

On Monday, a video in which Jones urged fans to stop watching Two and a Half Men, went viral on YouTube, saddling the Emmy-winning comedy with yet another behind-the-scenes controversy.

“I’m on Two and a Half Men, and I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it, and filling your head with filth,” he said in a religious testimonial for the website Forerunner Chronicles.

“People say it’s just entertainment,” the 19-year-old, who has since apologized for his remarks, continued. “Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you, you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch on the television. It’s bad news.”

The rant was eerily similar to the disparaging comments Charlie Sheen made about the show and its creator, Chuck Lorre, in 2011, which led him to be fired and replaced by Kutcher shortly after.

Now, insiders say that production has been thrown out of whack, leaving Jones’ future with the show in jeopardy.

“Production staff has been scrambling after his recent antics were publicized against the show,” another insider said of Jones, who isn’t scheduled to appear in an episode that tapes this week. “Everyone was nervous and upset not knowing what would happen next.”

Personally, I think it would be a smart move on Miley’s part. What else does she have going on right now? 🙂

What do you think? Miley on ‘Two and a Half Men’? Sound off below!

Angus T. Jones apologizes publicly for calling ‘Two and a Half Men’ “filth”

Angus T. Jones is a sorry man, sorta. On Monday, Angus went on a rant  in a video for his Christian Church, calling his TV show ‘Two and a Half Men’ “filth”, and begged his fans to quit watching the show. Jones, who recently became a born-again Christian, said in a video for the Christian group Forerunner that he no longer wanted to be on Two and a Half Men. “Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth,” he urged. The apology he’s released below didn’t exactly retract this sentiment.

Since the video went public (watch it below) everyone’s kind of quietly been waiting around to see if he would show up back for work on the show. Rumor has it, he hasn’t been to work yet. Here’s his apology:

I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours. While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear.

Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked over the past ten years and who have become an extension of my family.

Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.

I also want all of the crew and cast on our show to know how much I personally care for them and appreciate their support, guidance and love over the years. I grew up around them and know that the time they spent with me was in many instances more than with their own families. I learned life lessons from so many of them and will never forget how much positive impact they have had on my life.

I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that.

So it’s an apology….. sort of. It’s an apology along the lines of “if I hurt your feelings, I’m sorry,” which isn’t really an apology, if you ask me.

I’m still waiting anxiously to hear what creator and producer Chuck Lorre has to say on the matter!

One person who has weighed in, unsurprisingly, is Charlie Sheen. Here’s what he has to say on the matter. “With Angus’s Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed.” He went on to tell TMZ, “Obviously, not having been there for some time, the Angus T. Jones that I knew and still love is not the same guy I saw on YouTube yesterday.”

He adds, “I dare anyone to spend ten years in the laugh-track that is Chuck Lorre’s hive of oppression and not suffer some form of an emotional tsunami.”

WOW. Angus T. Jones’ from ‘Two and a Half Men’ PLEADS with the public to STOP watching his “filthy” show!!

This isn’t going to end well.

Angust T. Jones, who stars in ‘Two and a Half Men’ is urging his fans to stop watching the show, claiming it’s “nothing but filth” and contradicts his Christian values.

19-year-old Jones — who makes $350k AN EPISODE playing Jake on the show — is featured in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church … in which he talks about his commitment to his faith and explains, “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men.”

“I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it.”

“Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.”

He continues, “If I am doing any harm, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be contributing to the enemy’s plan … You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can’t. I’m not OK with what I’m learning, what the bible says and being on that television show.”

Angus says he turned to religion after realizing his life was on a “downward trend” — which included drug use and speeding tickets.

In fact, Angus says he was dropping acid and smoking weed while he was in high school.

Is he looking to get himself fired? Cause I’d say that might be coming in 3…2…1….
