Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt at the 13th annual Critics’ Choice Awards, January 7

I really love them together. I’ve tried, but I just can’t hate them. So sue me. You gotta check out the pictures of them together at the table. They’re so cute!

Angelina Jolie has ended the rift between her and her estranged father, Jon Voight by reaching out with a telephone call. The pair hadn’t spoken since Voight told a U.S. television show in June 2002 that he hoped Jolie sought help for her “serious emotional problems”. Voight, 69, has since attempted to patch things up with his daughter, and last month, said, “I’m very impressed with Angelina’s work, with some of the humanitarian things, and she’s a great actress.
“I am always thinking of Brad and the kids. I’m sending my love that way.” A source tells the National Enquirer that Jolie called her father while spending Christmas in New Orleans with partner Brad Pitt and their four children.
The friend reveals, “It was a short call, but it meant the world to both of them. It was something for them to build on, and Jon couldn’t say enough good things about the way his daughter is conducting her life.”

Angelina Jolie stars in a provocative thriller that tells the shocking tale of a mother’s quest to find her son, and those who won’t stop until they silence her. The Changeling is directed by Clint Eastwood and also stars John Malkovich and Amy Ryan. The film is set for a November 7th, 2008 release.

The Brangelina brood had a finger lickin’ good Christmas in New Orleans.
Days before the holiday, Pitt — who just turned 44 — and Jolie, 32, were spotted strolling hand in hand as they shopped at Harry’s Corner and Santa’s Quarter in their French Quarter neighborhood.
Later, Jolie took daughter Shiloh, 19 months, on a walk around town, letting her munch on Lay’s Chips and Cracker Jacks.
The actress — who has admitted, “I’m not much of a cook” – proved that point when she and Pitt (in a white Nissan minivan) went through a McDonald’s drive-thru and picked up Happy Meals for their kids on Christmas Day.
The day after Christmas, the family – sans Shiloh – hit the AMC Palace Theater to take in the family flick The Water Horse.
And on the way home? They hit up another fast food restaurant: KFC.

What do you give Brad Pitt for his birthday, a man who has millions and can buy virtually anything he wants? It seems Angelina Jolie has the answer.
This week Pitt celebrated his 44th birthday – and proving that he’s hoping to grow old disgracefully, Jolie fulfilled one of his great whims.
Jolie, 32, treated her hunky fella to an extra-special birthday present – a $100,000 motorcycle engraved with a tribute to his favorite musician.
In front of the handlebars is a plaque with the words, “My Sweetheart, the Drunk,” the name of a Jeff Buckley album, Pitt’s favourite singer.
