New! Pictures from “Wanted”

wanted-millar-graphic-novel-20071029110842427.jpg

Based upon Mark Millar’s explosive graphic novel series and helmed by stunning visualist director Timur Bekmambetov — creator of the most successful Russian film franchise in history, the Night Watch series — Wanted tells the tale of one apathetic nobody’s transformation into an unparalleled enforcer of justice.

In 2008, the world will be introduced to a hero for a new generation: Wesley Gibson. 25-year-old Wes (James McAvoy) was the most disaffected, cube-dwelling drone the planet had ever known. His boss chewed him out hourly, his girlfriend ignored him routinely and his life plodded on interminably. Everyone was certain this disengaged slacker would amount to nothing. There was little else for Wes to do but wile away the days and die in his slow, clock-punching rut.

Until he met a woman named Fox (Angelina Jolie). After his estranged father is murdered, the deadly sexy Fox recruits Wes into the Fraternity, a secret society that trains Wes to avenge his dad’s death by unlocking his dormant powers.

As she teaches him how to develop lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, Wes discovers this team lives by an ancient, unbreakable code: carry out the death orders given by fate itself. With wickedly brilliant tutors—including the Fraternity’s enigmatic leader, Sloan (Morgan Freeman)—Wes grows to enjoy all the strength he ever wanted.

But, slowly, he begins to realize there is more to his dangerous associates than meets the eye. And as he wavers between newfound heroism and vengeance, Wes will come to learn what no one could ever teach him: he alone controls his destiny.

Another day, another Angelina pregnancy rumor.

*IMAGES REMOVED*

From Daily Mail:

Angelina Jolie is one of the world’s most beautiful women, best known for her alluring, pouty mouth.

But in a candid on set shot, stood next to septugenarian director Clint Eastwood, an extremely slender Angelina’s intensely veiny arms look wrinklier than those belonging to the veteran actor.

At 32, Angelina is 45 years Eastwood’s junior, but the gnarled veiny hands look decades older than that of the glamorous actress’ real age.

Angelina and Clint were on the set of her new film The Changeling. Dressed in brown fur-trimmed coat, a cloche hat and short wig, she looked almost unrecognisable as she worked on the new film.

Directed by Clint Eastwood, 32-year-old Angelina plays a mother who suspects her son, returned to her after an abduction, is not really hers.

It was reported Angelina pulled out of an engagement in Italy fuelling rumours that she and her actor partner Brad Pitt are about to announce another happy event.

According to a report, the Tomb Raider star was due to give a lecture at the UN-linked Pio Manzu Centre, near Rimini, about global topics and the future of humankind.

But the talk was cancelled at the last minute due to “personal reasons”.

Italian papers have allegedly claimed it was because Angelina discovered she is expecting her second child with Brad – their fifth including their adopted children.

Letizia Manjani, a spokeswoman for the centre, told The Sun: “Angelina cancelled last week. Due to her privacy I can’t confirm her pregnancy.”

However, Ms Manjani, somewhat conflictingly added: “But I can say that the Italian newspapers are correct in their reports.”

Both Brad and Angelina have been very open about their desire to expand their United Nations-style brood.

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are competing cover girls! Both women grace the front of November’s W Magazine.

How? The issue is being sold with nine different cover options, and with Aniston and Jolie each earning one, the Pitt-flames past and present are in direct competition.

While the numbers aren’t in yet on W‘s head-to-head cover match, Forbes reports that over a six-month period, Aniston covers outsold every other celeb, including Angie.

Brad & Angelina Teaming Up for HBO Series

angelinajolieandbradpittpickupmaddoxfromlyceefrancaisschoolinnewyork01.jpg

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are already partners on a handful of huge projects – namely Maddox, Shiloh, Zahara and Pax – but now the pair are going into business together.

Pitt, 43, and Jolie, 32, are teaming up for their first producing project, a new series for HBO, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

And it’s a subject close to their hearts: The untitled drama will go behind the scenes of an international aid organization and follow workers who put their lives in danger to help others. The series is being written by Scott Burns, who co-wrote The Bourne Ultimatum and produced Al Gore’s Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

After spending some family time in New York (where Pitt also filmed his new movie Burn After Reading), the couple recently returned to Los Angeles, where Jolie is filming The Changeling with Clint Eastwood.

The Donald doesn’t think Angie is all that!

011607%20wof%20donald%20trumpbwf6002cp.jpg2_donald_trump.jpg

Donald Trump was on Larry King and decided to give his opinion on Angelina Jolie. He said: “I’m not saying she’s not an attractive woman, but she’s not a great beauty by any stretch of the imagination.”

“Angelina Jolie is sort of amazing because everyone thinks she’s like this great beauty. And I’m not saying she’s an unattractive woman, but she’s not beauty, by any stretch of the imagination. And now she’s like a representative of the United Nations and world peace on hunger and all of this crap.”

“And I remember at the Academy Awards a few years ago she was Frenching her brother. She was giving her brother lip kisses like I never saw before in my life. And she had just said she made love to Billy Bob Thornton in the back of the limousine on the way over. And I wouldn’t want to shake her hand, by the way. You know, you get back into the — I wouldn’t want to have shaken her hand. But she’s being interviewed and she’s all over the guy.”

“About three weeks later, he got caught cheating with about 15 different girls and she was gone. But she had just made love with him coming over to the Academy Awards.”

“And now she’s like this great beauty who is representing world peace and the United Nations. It’s called give me a break. But she’s not — in terms of beauty, she’s not a great beauty. She’s a nice looking woman. She’s OK. But she’s not a great beauty.”

He also commented on Britney saying “I’ve never seen an image change so much for the bad.” “You know, I knew Britney five years ago when she was hot as a pistol. Of course, I guess you can say she’s hot now. Everyone is talking about her. But she performed for me numerous times at different venues that I own. And she was the cleanest, nicest, most — I will never forget, she went on the stage in Atlantic City, and she was with like a prayer group. And everybody got together. They had a Bible in the middle, they put their hands on the Bible. I’m saying, what happened to this person? And the 15-year-old and 17-year-old young girls, she was like their idol. I have never seen an image change so much for the bad side.”

King then asked if he blamed her parents and Trump said: “I think the mother is distraught. I think the mother did a great job until something happened. You know, it’s interesting, Kevin Federline, I was never a big fan of his, and then I heard his all-time hero is Donald Trump. In fact, they sent…” After hearing that Donald now thinks Federline is fantastic! “It is unbelievable. He came in with a suit — this is like two years ago. He came in all dressed up with a suit and tie. He said, my all-time hero is Donald Trump. I think he’s fantastic. He has done a great job with Britney. But the fact is, from the day he met her, it’s not exactly like she turned out so good.”

Trump on George Clooney: “One of the perceptions I had of George Clooney was he was this big, strong guy. And he was very little when I met him.”

“I’m — oh, no, no. Nothing to do with George Clooney. I mean, I thought he was very nice, but I only met him for a short period of time. But the perception is this, you know, different kind of a guy. And when I met him, I was very surprised.”
