A French magazine reported on its website Wednesday morning that Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins. She and Brad Pitt have been holed up in the South of France since May, having recently moved into Chateau Miraval with their four kids.

According to Closer:

Translation: Angelina went into labor Tuesday night and gave birth this (Wednesday) morning in a French hospital.

Angelina has “reportedly” given birth before, with “Entertainment Tonight” claiming she did a month ago and refusing to back down. But, Brad Pitt has traveled a lot since, doubtful if he had two preemie twins at home, and In Touch has pictures of a still-pregnant Jolie last week.

No word on the legitimacy of Closer’s report, but check back for updates.

Angelina Jolie’s action thriller Wanted had the best opening ever for an R-rated film released in June and the 6th best opening of all the time for any R-rated film, according to Variety.

But Wanted didn’t open at No. 1. WALL-E the Pixar Animation tale about a robot, opened with $62.5 million in ticket sales, while Jolie’s assassin thriller Wanted raked in $51.1 million, the Associated Press reported Sunday.

According to the AP, WALL-E drew moviegoers of all ages.

“The real secret is they’re not children’s movies. They’re movies for everybody. Children absolutely adore them, but parents enjoy them on a different level,” Mark Zoradi, president of Disney’s motion-picture group told the AP.

Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal, told the AP, “We knew WALL-E would be huge, but it’s not the same audience as Wanted.”

The same New York Times critic who dissed the Sex and the City movie gave Jolie a rave review.

“With her mean smiley-sneer and snug clothes, her heels and hieroglyphics, she cuts the kind of disciplinarian figure who can bring antsy boys of all ages to their knees or at least into their theater seats,” Manohla Dargis wrote.

The same New York Times critic who dissed the Sex and the City movie digs Angelina Jolie in the new action thriller Wanted.

“Ms. Jolie has been perfectly cast as a super-scary, seemingly amoral assassin named (wait for it) Fox,” Manohla Dargis writes.

“Few American actresses, especially those with such pin-skinny arms, can make beating a guy to the ground look so easy and, yeah, man, like fun,” the critics adds.

“With her mean smiley-sneer and snug clothes, her heels and hieroglyphics, she cuts the kind of disciplinarian figure who can bring antsy boys of all ages to their knees or at least into their theater seats.”

Dargis wasn’t as enthused about the film, however, saying it was merely “a couple of ideas recycled from The Matrix and Fight Club.

Angelina Jolie has been dropped as the face of Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido to make room for a new celebrity face.

The 33-year-old star signed on as the brand’s ambassador in 2006 – but after two years of appearing in commercials and print ads for the brand, she has been outed from her post by British supermodel model Agyness Deyn.

Deyn can be seen as the brand’s new spokesmodel in their Fall 2008 Maquillage ad campaign.

It’s not the only contract pregnant Jolie has lost – she parted company with fashion house St. John last month, ending a three-year relationship with the company.

Angelina Jolie is currently content with motherhood and humanitarian work, and has no plans of returning to the big screen anytime soon.

The Tomb Raider star and mom of four is pregnant with twins and admits that being a parent has become the number one priority in her life.

She told MTV.com, “I love being a mom and I do love traveling and the work I get to do with children in the field and with refugees. Brad and I take turns working so instead of it being ‘I get to work next,’ it’s ‘You have to work next, because it’s your turn. I’m staying home with the kids.’”

Angelina Jolie may appear bubbly and confident when talking about her twin baby girls. But the truth is she’s worried and troubled over the imminent arrival of the new additions.

A source tells Star that Brad Pitt’s partner, who already has four kiddies, has loaded up on books and consulted experts about raising multiples, but “she’s worried they will live in their own little world, mirror each other’s habits and not integrate into the family,” says the source. “She says she’ll never dress them the same and that she and Brad have discussed putting them in different cribs — even in different rooms!”

Breast-feeding is another major concern for the actress. Since she had such a tough time breast-feeding Shiloh, she’s “very worried about nursing two babies at once,” the source adds.

Angie’s fears have caused her to suffer from panic attacks. She starts “hyperventilating,” says an insider. “When she freaks, her voice gets real shrill. Just the other day, she was on the phone with one of her managers, who had to calm her down and tell her that the new babies will be a wonderful blessing and that the other kids will help out.”

Angelina Jolie has refused to rule out starring in action films when she is older, hailing Harrison Ford as a perfect example of an ageing action hero.

The Hollywood star loves the physical side of filming for movies like Mr. and Mrs Smith and Wanted, and hopes to be able to continue pursuing such roles when she is more mature.

She tells MTV.com, “I think there’s always going to be a side of me.
“Harrison (Ford) is doing it, and he’s doing it well. (So) it looks like I’ve got some more time.”

Ford, 65, recently starred in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull – the fourth installment of the adventure franchise – performing the majority of his stunts all by himself.
