Networks have begun to reshuffle their mid-season schedules, as new shows and timetables reveal their popularity, or lack of it.
* NBC has decided to give its new comedy series, Amy Poehler vehicle “Parks and Recreation”, a big push by sandwiching its premiere between two new episodes of “The Office” when it debuts on Thursday, April 9 at 8:30 pm. The show replaces “Kath & Kim” on NBC’s Thursday lineup.
* “The Office” had originally been scheduled to finish its 29-episode run with an hour-long finale on May 14, but due to the double scheduling around the “Parks” launch it will now go out with a single episode. The change will leave “30 Rock” an episode up, however, meaning that the satirical sitcom will fill the May 14 gap with its own season finale.
* ABC has reduced its episode order for Rob Thomas-penned comedy “Cupid” from ten to seven. Originally slated to debut on March 24, “Cupid” will now launch on Tuesday, March 31 at 10 pm.
* NBC has decided to up its episode order for spy series “Chuck” from 22 episodes to 24 episodes. That show will now occupy the Monday 8 pm time slot through to April 27, and on May 4 it will be replaced by new episodes of “Deal or No Deal.”
* The good news for “Chuck” means that new show “Who Do You Think You Are?” (based on the UK show) has been delayed indefinitely. The show was a genealogy reality series that had promised to feature Sarah Jessica Parker and Susan Sarandon.

Comedians Amy Poehler and Will Arnett have welcomed their first child, a boy.
Archie Arnett was born on Saturday and weighed in at 8 lbs., 1 oz., their rep Lewis Kay said in a statement.
“Amy, Will and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably,” Kay said.
During the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday Night Live, Poehler’s co-anchor Seth Meyers announced to a cheering crowd: “Amy Poehler is not here tonight because she is having a baby.”
Poehler, 37, revealed in April that she and Arnett, 38, were expecting.
“I’ve been very lucky,” Poehler said in July. “I’m feeling good, and I’m just overwhelmed with blessings.”
Meyers recently said that the cast was thrilled about the baby. “We’re all excited for her,” said Myers. “I think she’s going to be a great mom.”
Besides welcoming the new member of the family, Arnett will star with Kristen Bell in the big-screen comedy When in Rome, and Poehler – who is leaving SNL this year – will return to NBC in the spring as the star of an as-yet untitled primetime comedy.

Amy Poehler’s leaving Saturday Night Live.
According to the Los Angeles Times, she tells the new issue of Men’s Vogue that she is taking a break after the November election as she prepares to welcome her first child. And she won’t be returning after maternity leave.
“It’s gonna be really hard — Boyz II Men hard — to say goodbye to yesterday,” she says. “SNL was dangerous, late-night, last-minute and star-studded, but like any good drug, you need to know when to put it down.”
Poehler won’t be off the small screen altogether.
She has signed on for NBC’s upcoming Office spin-off, set to air next year.
“I can kind of confirm that I will be working in some capacity on that show,” she in July. “I don’t really have any other details yet.”
Next up: The Emmys. She is nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for SNL.
She generated laughs this past weekend, portraying Hillary Clinton in a sketch with Tina Fey, who played Sarah Palin.
