Amber Rose reallly wanted a natural birth, but looks like her first son, Sebastian, had other plans!

In an appearance on The Ricki Lake Show on Tuesday, Apr. 30, the 29-year-old model opened up about the Feb. 21 delivery of her son and how her plan of a home water birth “went down the drain.”

But first, a little backstory: After watching The Business of Being Born, a doc Ricki Lake made about how corrupt, needless an expensive hospital births can be, Rose was so inspired that she decided to have a home water birth as well. “Today was the first day of my home birthing classes,” she tweeted on Jan. 13. “No meds, no hospital, just the privacy of my own home. I’m so excited for this experience!”

Well, Sebastian wasn’t having it at all! Rose had a birthing pool, midwives and a doula ready to help her, but at 37 weeks pregnant, the first-time mom-to-be learned that her baby was breech, or feet-first.

“My ideal birth plan was just down the drain,” she said on The Ricki Lake Show. “I tried mugwort, acupuncture and then my last resort was an inversion, which is when you go to the hospital and they manually try to turn your baby,” she revealed. “They push his head down and push his butt up . . . It hurt a lot. It was very painful. I cried.”

But the procedure didn’t work, and Rose accepted that she would have to undergo a C-section to deliver her son. “Of course it wasn’t . . . what we wanted to happen, but as mentally prepared as we were for the home birth, we had to get as prepared for the C-section,” Khalifa, 25, explained in a pre-recorded video clip.

“When I went in I was terrified, shaking. I was so scared,” Rose shared. “But then Wiz came in [and] he just talked to me the whole time.”

Their son, Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz, was born on Feb. 21. “All of a sudden we heard Sebastian cry and then we both started crying,” Rose recalled. “We were like, ‘Oh my gosh, our baby’s here!’”

“I feel like I made the right decision,” Rose said. “But I knew right after having a c-section that [with] our next baby I definitely want to have my baby at home.”

Yikes! Not the typical “easy birth,” not that any birth is easy. Next time, you can splash around in your birthing pool, if you’d like. Or hey, try a hospital with painkillers and all that good stuff…

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa have finally welcomed their first child, a son they named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz. Wiz, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, announced the news via Twitter. “Happy Birthday!!!” he wrote. “Everyone welcome this perfect young man into the world.”

After confirming the pregnancy while walking the MTV Video Music Awards’ red carpet in September, the couple posed for a series of intimate shots that showed off the model’s budding baby belly.

“I’ve decided that I’m going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine,” the mom-to-be, 29, told XXL at the time. “I want those bragging rights! The next time Wiz has a stomachache … I’ll say, ‘I popped a baby out all natural!’”

It seems the couple’s son had other plans though, as Khalifa Tweeted a photo of himself dressed in scrubs and mask, ready for delivery.

In January, Rose celebrated pending parenthood with a colorful baby shower surrounded by close family and friends, and earlier this month, the couple attended the Grammys, where Khalifa joked that he’d like his lady to “stay pregnant forever.”

Dontcha just LOVE those mom’s who brag about having a natural birth – before they’ve even had a child? And about these bragging rights – I’m sorry – but that drives me NUTS as well. You know what I brag about? I brag about delivering two beautiful healthy sons. Who CARES how they got here. I had a C-Section – that makes me no less of a wonder mom than those of you painfully popping out babies pain-medicine free.

Pregnant model Amber Rose was spotted out shopping for shoes at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills this weekend. Amber wore a skin tight yellow polka dot dress, red heels, a black ‘dice’ handbag and a captains hat.

I didn’t see her out supporting her baby daddy Wiz Khalifa at the Grammy’s. I can’t imagine she’s very comfortable at this point (although she’s good enough to go shopping!).

You gotta give the girl props for having the balls to wear this dress. That is a whole ‘lotta belly right there, and she’s still rocking the skin-tight mini dress. At this point in my pregnancy, I was lucky to get out of my jammies.

Well, Amber Rose is officially obnoxious!

The 29-year-old model, who is expecting her first child, (a baby boy) with fiance Wiz Khalifa, has been bragging on Twitter about her stretch mark-free body.

Rose shared a photo of herself posing in only a bra and underwear to show off her baby bump on January 27th, the caption reading: “Nine months pregnant and no stretch marks on my body…Thank you Jesus!”

Amber Rose has been seen wearing a lot less than a tank and panties, but even more shocking is her desire for an all-natural water birth so that she can have “bragging rights!” Here’s an excerpt from the interview:

Amber plan for the birth: “I’m so ready. I’ve decided that I’m going to have an all-natural water birth. No medicine. I want those bragging rights. The next time Wiz has a stomach ache or anything, I’ll say, “I popped out a baby all-natural.’”

Wiz’s response: “The most important thing is knowing that she is there and I have to tend to my babies… I gotta go just as hard taking care of my baby and making sure she’s all right.”

Oy veh, wanting to go natural for a birth for “bragging rights?” Is this a thing?! I hope not.
