Johnny and his costar Amber Heard fell madly in lust and Johnny ended his 14-year relationship with Vanessa.

After the fall-out from Johnny leaving Vanessa, the new couple apparently went into hiding, and kept things quiet. Johnny was reportedly very concerned about Vanessa’s feelings if he went public with Amber, and didn’t want to cause her any more pain. Apparently this only angered Amber more – who wanted to go public – and threatened to leave. The two supposedly made their first public appearance at a Rolling Stones concert earlier this month, and NOW, it’s rumored they’re engaged.

It’s been claimed by sources that the hot Hollywood couple have gotten engaged after Pirate of The Caribbean star Johnny popped the question on his 27-year-old beau’s birthday.

“He proposed on her birthday [April 22],” an insider told the National Enquirer.

The couple met when they filmed The Rum Diaries together in 2011 and have been dating on and off ever since, following Johnny’s split from long-term partner Vanessa Paradis.

Despite the massive step in their relationship, insiders say they intend to keep schtum on the news until the end of the year – but in the mean time the love-struck have apparently already started looking for a love nest to share together.

“They’re not announcing it until the end of the year, but she and Johnny are now on the hunt for a vintage one-of-a-kind ring.”

The couple were recently spotted holding hands at a Rolling Stones concert last month and it seems the show of affection along with the proposal could be down to the blonde actress demanding more commitment from the 49-year-old actor.

“She gave him an ultimatum, no woman wants to be someone’s dirty secret. A few months ago she took off to Paris and started dating French model Marie de Villepin. He offered her everything, even marriage, to come back,” the source explained.

“That was exactly what Amber wanted – for the world to know they’re together and for Johnny to put a ring on it. She’s had a crush on him since she was a teenager, so this is a dream come true!”

I don’t even know what to believe anymore. You never know. Until I see a photo of the two of them together, and an engagement ring on her finger, I’m not sure I’ll buy anything.

Johnny had been with his partner Vanessa Paradis for 14 years before he made a movie with Amber Heard, and the two started hooking up. He broke things off with Vanessa, and has been laying low ever since. I guess enough time has passed, because the two were spotted last night making their first official appearance as a couple.

Johnny and Amber were spotted at a Rolling Stone concert at Hollywood’s Echoplex. According to witnesses, the two attended the show together, and couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

The two of them reportedly hooked up while filming ‘Rum Diary’, and eventually their relationship cost Johnny Depp his partner of many years, Vanessa Paradis. I think both of them were uncomfortable with all the negative press they were getting over their relationship, and decided to cool things down for a bit.

Anyway, rumor has it the two of them are very much together – even going so far as to drop the L word.

Amber Heard has dyed her hair brown for an upcoming movie opposite Harrison Ford! The blonde bombshell looks almost unrecognizable as a brunette.

The Rum Diary actress, who has been filming the movie Paranoia with Harrison in Philadelphia, turned heads in tight-fitting black trousers, a white T-shirt and cream blazer.

The co-stars dined at Da Umberto, an upscale Italian eatery in Chelsea.

Paranoia tells the story of a boss who blackmails one of his young employees to spy on a rival company.

Directed by Australian Robert Luketic of Legally Blonde Fame, the drama also stars Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman and Richard Dreyfuss.

Looks like her relationship with Johnny Depp was nothing serious, and by nothing serious I mean an (alleged) affair that most likely cost Johnny his long-time relationship with partner Vanessa Paradis. No biggie.

Amber Heard hasn’t stepped much in the wake of Johnny Depp’s split from longtime partner Vanessa Paradis. Many people are calling Amber a homewrecker, and from the looks of it, Vanessa feels the same way.

The 26-year-old actress stepped out yesterday with a friend to visit Western Costume Co in Burbank, California.

She might have reason to hide, considering the public thinks she had something to do with the breakup of Johnny and Vanessa.

Vanessa has reportedly labelled Amber a “man-stealing nobody” for playing a role in Johnny leaving her. Vanessa told friends that she is determined to keep the young blonde away from their two children, Lily-Rose and Jack.

A source told Now magazine: ‘Vanessa’s devastated that Johnny’s dumped her. She blames Amber and calls her a man-stealing, two-bit nobody and has vowed to not let her anywhere near their children.’

Vanessa and Depp announced their split last month following a 14-year relationship, causing reports of a romance between the actor and Amber to heat up.

According to reports, Amber, 26, has been a ‘regular visitor’ to the New Mexico set of The Lone Ranger where Depp has been shooting the movie.

A source claims Depp is smitten by the Hitchcock blonde, and reportedly said:’ When I first saw Amber, it was like seeing an old-time movie star like Lauren Bacall.‘

Whereas Amber described her role as his love interest in the film, The Rum Diary, as ‘the best experience of my life.’

Speaking about Depp she told Dazed magazine: ‘He’s such a wonderful presence; he is enigmatic and compelling and a true artist, seriously intelligent and incredibly sensitive.

‘Everybody on set respects and likes him, which says a lot about an actor. It’s a grueling job at times and the stress level that everybody feels in the industry is intense – but it doesn’t affect Johnny.

‘It seems like he has time to look everybody in the eye and I like that, it was wonderful to see.’

And following the claims, a source told Us Weekly magazine that the pair are ’100 per cent dating’, adding: ‘He treats her really well.’

Do we really buy the fact that Johnny and Amber were having an affair?  I’m still not sure I buy it, I’m holding out for pictures of the couple together. If Amber IS making regular trips to visit him on set, I’m finding it hard to believe that no one has gotten a picture of them. A single cell-phone snap of the two could bring in a ton of money.

We’ll see! Only time will tell! If Johnny were my man, and the Amber rumors were true, then calling her a “two-bit man-stealing nobody”, would be considered NICE. I think Amber deserves it…. IF the rumors are true.

After meeting on the set of Rum Diary back in 2009, the duo didn’t become romantic until the film’s promotional tour in 2011, when Depp and French model-actress Paradis, 39, were already seriously estranged.

“They started sleeping together during the press tour,” a pal says of the bisexual actress, who recently called it quits with girlfriend Tasya van Ree.
