Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristen Stewart and more at the Met Gala!

Scarlett Johansson wore a fairy-tale(ish) special Dolce & Gabbana gown.  Marion Cotillard wore a dress by Dior. Kristen Stewart is making a lot of “worst dressed” lists with her Balenciaga dress. (Hate to agree, but it is ugly).

Gwyneth Paltrow wore a mullet-style Prada dress (man, Prada was the designer of the night!). Kristen Wiig wore an orange Stella McCartney dress. Jessica Chastain is also showing up on a lost of “worst dressed” lists. She wore Louis Vuitton. Dakota Fanning wore a lavender gown by Louis Vuitton. Camille Belle wore a metallic beaded Ralph Lauren gown. Lana Del Rey wore a Joseph Altuzarra dress. Amber Heard wore a rose colored Zac Posen dress.

Amber Heard Takes Her Pink Puppy For A Walk

‘The Rum Diary’ star Amber Heard was out in NYC this afternoon with her dog.  Amber’s adorable little Yorkie is sporting some pink-tipped fur as they headed over to the nail salon.

What do you think about the trend of dying a dog’s hair/fur?  Do you think it’s cruel?

Amber Heard oozes sex at the ‘Rum Diary’ UK premiere

Amber Heard certainly knows how to work her assets, doesn’t she. Of course you and I would work it too – if we looked like that – so go for it!

Sorry men, Amber’s into the ladies.

Here is Amber at the UK premiere of her new movie ‘Rum Diary’ wearing a dress by Alessandra Rich. It looks absolutely incredible on her. It makes her body look ridiculous! She looks incredibly sexy! (Rumors have it she is being considered to play Grace Kelly in an upcoming bio pic!)

Also pictured: Johnny Depp (But who wants to look at pictures of him, when you can look at pictures of her!)

Grace Kelly movie coming, who should play the gorgeous princess?

After years of planning and funding, it looks like a Grace Kelly movie is in the works. Deadline reports that the movie will cover a year and a half period in 1962 when the princess helped save Monaco.

20th Century figures seem to be the rage, from Colin Firth’s King George VI in The King’s Speech to Michelle Williams’ portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in My Week with Marilyn to Meryl Streep’s upcoming turn as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady. The next figure to watch out for: actress-turned-Monaco princess Grace Kelly. Shortly after his agents began circulating the Arash Amel script Grace of Monaco, producer Pierre-Ange Le Pogam has agreed to fully fund a $15 million project that is now out to directors and will soon look for an actress to play Princess Grace. The film covers a half year period in 1962, when French leader Charles De Gaulle and Monaco’s Prince Rainier III were at odds over Monaco’s standing as a tax haven. France gave Monaco six months to reform its tax laws, and the situation escalated. By that time, Kelly (33 at the time) had given up her acting career to become a full time princess, and the film details her political manuevering behind the scenes to save Monaco. The CAA-repped Amel scripted the Aaron Eckhart-starrer The Expatriate.

Hollywood has been buzzing all week about which Hollywood actress should play the -year-old princess. This is a tall order, who could play the classic, beautiful, smart and elegant Kelly? (It’s like casting someone to play Aubrey Hepburn! How can it be done?)

There have been many names thrown into the mix as who should play Kelly. Here are some of them:

Michelle Williams: In my opinion, Michelle is too obvious. After portraying Marilyn Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn”, I don’t think she would get this part. I don’t know if Michelle could pull it off, either. She’s more ……. brooding (she always plays such sad characters!)? I don’t know if she could do elegant and classy. I could be wrong!

January Jones: Unlike Michelle Williams, I do think January could pull off elegant and classy. She has a timeless face – and as we’ve seen in ‘Mad Men’ she really can pull off that gorgeous 60′s look. BUT what’s working against January is she really is a terrible actress. Horrible. In no way could she pull off that kind of role.

Amber Heard: Amber is definitely Hollywood’s It-Girl right now. Having starred in the short-lived ‘Playboy Club’, Amber is now starring opposite Johnny Depp in ‘The Rum Diary’. She could definitely pull of the 60′s glam look – my only question would be in her acting. But in all fairness, I’ve only really seen her in ‘The Playboy Club’ and I won’t hold that against her.

Charlize Theron: You guys seem to like the Charlize Theron suggestion, so I’ve added her here. I agree, to an extent. I think she’s an amazing actress, but like Michelle Williams - I think she thrives in serious roles. I’m not sure if she could play the elegant Grace. I think out of all the choices, however, Charlize might be the best pick.

Other names thrown in the mix: Gwyneth Paltrow, Rosamund Pike, Carey Mulligan, Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively.

Who do you think should get the role?

Last night’s Hollywood Film Awards brought out a lot of beautiful celebs. Alongside Rosie were actresses Amber Heard, Julianne Hough, Bryce Dallas Howard and Elle Fanning!

Actors Ewan McGregor and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were also on hand!

Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and more at Elle Magazine’s Women in Hollywood Tribute!

Nine of Hollywood’s hottest female stars were honored last night at Elle Magazine’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood tribute.

The women celebrated this year included Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Aniston, Freida Pinto, Evan Rachel Wood, Naomi Watts, Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis, Stacey Snider and Elizabeth Olsen, who received the Calvin Klein Collection Emerging Star award.

The clear winner of the night was Streisand, who picked up the L’Oreal Paris Legend award. Most of the women at the event looked up to and were inspired by the singer/actress’ career. Oscar-winner Kathryn Bigelow, who directed “The Hurt Locker,” called Streisand “a world icon” and “somebody who has mastered virtually every art form imaginable: directing, acting, composing, singing, producing, writing,” as she introduced her on stage.

Fellow nominee Aniston told the singer that she loved her, and Pinto added that she was honored just to be “sharing the same oxygen” with Streisand.

“You’re a legend not only in Hollywood but literally all over the world,” Pinto said to Streisand. “I can say that because I come from India.”

In her acceptance speech, Streisand told the crowd that only seven percent of the top 250 films were directed by women, and she encouraged those in the audience to continue to break barriers in the entertainment industry. “Let’s be bold and don’t wait for the phone to ring,” she said. “Create your own material. Tell me a story.”

Check out Elle’s short documentary on their top Women in Hollywood, featuring interviews with the honorees below.

What do you think of Jennifer’s dress? The metallic Kaufmanfranco mini-dress looks pretty hot on the actress, if you ask me. Check out all the other hot looks below!! Tons of pics to look through!
