Rosie O’Donnell appeared on the Today show Tuesday morning, and caused quite a stir when she announced Lindsay Lohan should not play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming lifetime movie. ”I think she needs a lot of help. She needs a lot of time away,”  O’Donnell said. “She’s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including ‘SNL.’ She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she’s not in a place to work.”

Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig fired off a statement to PerezHilton.com that said  ”I think Rosie should focus on her own career instead of worrying about everyone else’s.”

Now it’s Michael Lohan’s turn. Her dad had a few stronger words for O’Donnell. He sent an email to the Huffington Post:

From what I remember, the Bible says for he/she who is without sin, let them cast the first stone and judge not, lest you be judged. With that being said, is Rosie in ANY position to judge anyone? Failed marriage, two failed shows, slamming other celebs and high profile people. PLEASE! My daughter and even I, may have had our issues in life, but it’s about making things right and turning things around, right Rosie? I was and am the first one to point out my own faults, Lindsay’s and even others’ when we are wrong, but when we are not, I will fight tooth and nail for what’s right! In this case, Rosie, you are wrong. So why don’t you, and all in agreement with you, just sit back. Shut up and see if Lindsay proves herself before blabbing your unwarranted opinions.

How many of you watched Lindsay Lohan on Saturday’s ‘SNL’? I watched it, and I thought she did a HORRIBLE job. One of my favorite lines from the reviews I’ve read came from DListed: “Yes, everybody on SNL reads cue cards, but sometimes LiLo’s eyes were glued to those things like they had the recipe for how to make crack in a crock pot written on them. On the positive, at least we know she can still read.”

Lindsay used the opening monologue to poke fun at herself. Her troubles with the law, her sobriety, even her relationship with Sam Ronson. But it didn’t come across as very funny? (Watch the video below)

Letting Lindsay Lohan host “Saturday Night Live” was a mistake. And that isn’t anything against Lohan, her well documented escapades or her hopeful recovery. The fact is she just wasn’t ready. It was apparent that the cast and the writers didn’t particularly trust her (and why should they?) since they relegated her to backup duty in pretty much every sketch.

Also, she hasn’t acted in so long that her cue card reading was really obvious. (To be fair, all hosts are told to the read the cue cards because of the last-second changes that are made, but with Lohan it became particularly distracting.) And, you know what, it’s never a good thing when the host’s lawyer has final approval over sketches. Then, during the good nights, I watched Lohan approach cast member after cast member, seeking an endorsement, but, instead, receiving what seemed to be a forced, “Oh, yeah, you were great.” Anyway, all of this culminated with a terrible vibe. And, worse, because they were playing it so safe with Lohan (on a night, I should add, that two commercial parodies were repeated from earlier this season) this was a really boring show. Besides the pre-taped Disney ‘SNL’ short below (which was really, really funny), I thought the whole show was very dull. If Lindsay’s looking for a comeback, she really needed to memorize those cue cards. She should have gone in there – fully prepared – knowing her lines completely. All this did was prove that she still has lots to work on.

Ali Lohan (or Aliana, as she prefers to be called) has lost a ton of weight lately. She’s trying to make a name for herself as a model, and by the looks of these new pictures – she’s prepared to starve herself to make it happen. Ali, who turns 18 next week, is beyond shockingly thin.

As Lindsay Lohan spent yet another week flaking on work obligations, frolicking on the beach and appearing in court, her little sister Ali has sparked concern again by losing even more weight, and RadarOnline.com has photos of her downward spiral.

The teenage model appeared to be literally wasting away when she attended the Jay-Z concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with the troubled Mean Girls star on Tuesday night, and experts worry that she is putting her health at serious risk.

“She looks like a death camp survivor,” nutritionist Majid Ali (who has not treated the star) told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview. “It appears as if she is wasting away as her body chews up muscle looking for fuel.”

At 5’8 1/2″, Majid thinks that Ali is severely malnourished and estimates her weight to be 90 lbs at the most.

“It seems more like a starvation diet than binging and purging,” he explained.

The younger Lohan turns 18 on December 22, but her gaunt face, sunken cheeks and ashy complexion make her look much older than her years.

“Malnutrition will prematurely age her,” the nutritionist revealed. “It tears down tissue collagen and leads to wrinkles, poor skin, limp hair and bad nail quality.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the sisters hit the beach in Hawaii last week to attend the Pipeline Masters surfing competition, and while Lindsay showed off her ample curves in a bikini, Ali’s baggy shorts barely clung to her bony hips.

Months ago new pictures of Ali Lohan surfaced, prompting just about everyone to claim the young model had gotten plastic surgery. I don’t have the rights to the pictures, but you can see them here. Anyway, I don’t know if I really buy that she had plastic surgery. I think she’s just super-skinny, and on top of that – she’s growing up! Her body and looks ARE changing! I think the girl needs to eat a Twinkie, but other than that – I don’t necessarily think she had any work done.

Lindsay Lohan’s little sister Aliana, at 17, is growing up fast. Tall and with sunken cheekbones, Aliana (she’s ditched her childhood nickname Ali) has a contract with Next Model Management. Aliana appears on the cover of Page Six Magazine, inside the New York Post tomorrow.

Recently two different photos of her were juxtaposed, fueling online rumors of dramatic weight loss and even surgical procedures. Aliana, who explains her new look as a growth spurt, says, “I was cracking up. Because, like, when would I do that (surgery)? I’m 17 years old. That’s not legal! I would need my mother’s signature, and do you think my mom would sign off on that? No! Its not the right thing to do. . . . It’s stupid. I don’t listen to it. Its absolutely not true.”

Aliana is keen to find her own way in the modelling world. Cindy Crawford is her role model, she says, “for having branded her name really well.”

But despite seeking out her own path, Aliana is very close to her family. Of Lindsay she says, “You can’t trust anyone so we talk to each other about everything. . . . I admire how strong she is.”

Aliana insists she is the opposite of a wild child, she doesn’t drink or smoke, and, “I just say no [to drugs]. I’m lucky enough that I had my sister to learn from…I’ve seen people do it to her and I’ve learned to be like, ‘That’s stupid, no’. That’s why Lindsay and me are so close, because we’re able to talk about those things together.”

17-year-old Ali Lohan lands her first magazine cover as a model. Lindsay Lohan’s sister graced the cover of Fault Magazine’s winter 2011 issue.

Ali is practically unrecognizable in several of the pictures. But I think she looks pretty good… don’t you agree?

She’s come under fire for her recent weight loss, but the fashion industry doesn’t appear to think Ali Lohan is too thin. Lindsay Lohan’s 17-year-old sister has landed her first double cover since signing a contract with NEXT Model Management in August.

The pictures belie a maturity far beyond Ali’s tender years; with her black bob, heavy brows and strongly applied makeup, she looks at least ten years older.

It has been suggested that her new look is the result of plastic surgery, though her sister has defended her against criticism.

‘I love how haters pick on my sister yet every runway model is just as thin! My sister is gorgeous and I’m so proud of her and her career!!!!’ Lindsay Lohan tweeted recently. She denied rumors that Ali had work done on her face, after a plastic surgeon offered his opinion that her new look was the result of botox and fillers, and is vehement that her 5 foot 8 sibling isn’t underweight.

The NEXT agency has also denied the reports. Alexis Bores, the agency director of the modelling firm, told E! News: ‘Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery. As a young girl who is growing up, it’s natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape.’

Lindsay Lohan could be in some serious trouble when she faces Judge Stephanie Sautner, TMZ has learned. According to insiders, Lindsay is facing nearly a year-and-a-half for violating her probation!

We’re told the computations are complicated, because Lindsay has had so many cases. But based on the 120 day suspended sentence for shoplifting, time served under house arrest, and her prior DUIs, Lindsay could be thrown in jail for a long, long time.

We’ve learned Lindsay MUST be in court Wednesday to face the judge … and the judge has lots of questions, including why Lindsay was a no-show 9 times at the Downtown Women’s Center, where she was performing her community service. And the judge will almost certainly want to know why Lindsay didn’t comply with the order to spend a minimum of 4 hours at a time when she showed up at the Women’s Center.

TMZ broke the story, Lindsay was booted from the Women’s Center because of all the problems and reassigned to the American Red Cross.

And one more thing. The judge will almost certainly ask Lindsay why she didn’t meet with her shrink every Monday for 1 hour, as required by court order. Lindsay claims she did a bunch of therapy sessions by phone.

Lindsay has taken to Twitter to respond to all these new accusations. She wrote: “I am not to be made an example of anymore. I am working hard and fulfilling my obligations every single day, to the court as well as myself. If I travel, its for work and its been approved. As is anything I do when I leave the state. I’d appreciate it if people will just let me do what is asked of me, so that I can get my life back. Please ignore the reports which have no truth to them. Thank you.”
