Alex Pettyfer and ex-fiance Riley Keough are back together!

Alex Pettyfer and his ex-fiance (and Elvis Presley’s granddaughter) Riley Keough are back together!

The two were spotted at the premiere of his new movie, ‘The Butler,’ on Monday. According to US Weekly, the couple, who appeared together in ‘Magic Mike,’ “definitely came together, and were spotted holding hands” in the VIP area.

“There was definitely warmth between Riley and Alex,” said a witness. The on-again pair ended their engagement last year. “They were laughing together and smiling at each other.”

Alex, 23, and Riley, 24, originally began dating while filming ‘Magic Mike’ in October, 2011. They were engaged six months later.

I read online today that all of the Twi-hards drove Riley back to Alex. Riley was recently linked to Robert Pattinson, and all the Robsten fans went nuts and sent her straight back to her ex.

Gus Van Sant wants to direct ’50 Shades of Grey’ movie – and has already auditioned Alex Pettyfer for the lead!

I was beginning to think this ’50 Shades of Grey’ movie was never going to happen. I might have even hoped for it. Looks like it is going to happen, and it may not suck like we all thought. For those of you (like me) who thought this film was going to be an R-Rated Lifetime movie, you may be happy to hear it might be as naughty and gritty as you hoped it would be.

Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant wants to direct it, and he wants bad-boy Alex Pettyfer to play Christian Grey. Honestly, Alex would be PERFECT as Christian, and I honestly can’t think of anyone who could do it better. Alex is just a big enough prick in real life to be able to pull it off. Rumor has it Van Sant has already filmed a scene with Alex, in hopes of securing the job. What scene you ask? Oh, just the Anastasia-losing-her-virginity scene.

Two-time Oscar nominee Gus Van Sant has shot a steamy sex scene featuring Alex Pettyfer as Christian Grey in a bid to direct “Fifty Shades of Grey,” the film version of the erotic bestseller, individuals familiar with the project have told TheWrap.

The scene, insiders said, is when the ingénue Anastasia Steele loses her virginity to Grey.

Van Sant previously directed “Promised Land” and “Milk” for Focus Features, which has the rights to EL James’ novel along with Universal Pictures. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing.

Insiders stressed that Pettyfer was cast as Grey just for the tape, not the movie, though Universal just got into bed with the 23 year-old actor on its sexy remake of “Endless Love,” which he is currently shooting in Atlanta. TheWrap was unable to confirm the identity of the actress cast at Steele, the impressionable young woman who falls for kinky billionaire Grey.

Universal and Focus have declined to comment on any list stories, long or short, though a Universal spokesperson said that the studio isn’t out to directors or actors, nor have they commissioned any test reels. WME has also declined comment.

Van Sant has not settled on a follow-up film since wrapping “Promised Land,” which makes him available to begin working on the project as soon as writer Kelly Marcel delivers a finished draft of the script. Van Sant was not officially asked by the studio to shoot a test tape. But doing so may indicate how badly he wants the coveted assignment.

Universal and Focus spent at least $3 million in a bidding war to crack the whip on “Fifty Shades of Grey,” and they’ll certainly be expecting the pop culture phenomenon to be a hit, and a franchise for the studio. Van Sant has only directed one film to cross the domestic $100 million mark — 1997′s “Good Will Hunting” grossed $138 million in the U.S. — and only one more to cross the domestic $50 million mark, as “Finding Forrester” grossed $51 million in 2000.

Van Sant has long been considered a director who confronts themes such as sex and sexuality head-on, from his debut film the “Mala Noche” to the hustlers in “My Own Private Idaho” to Nicole Kidman’s provocative dance in “To Die For” to serving as the executive producer of Larry Clark’s explicit “Kids.”

Van Sant’s candidacy confirms the producers’ intentions to hire a high-class filmmaker to deliver a tasteful adaption of the steamy novel. It’s possible the success of Steven Soderbergh’s male stripper movie “Magic Mike” and its appeal to female audiences is why Van Sant chose to use Pettyfer in his test tape.

What do you think? Would Alex make the perfect Christian? Aren’t you dying to know which actress played Anastasia??

Report: Alex Pettyfer And Riley Keough Engaged

It’s a sad day for Alex Pettyfer fans – the hunky ‘Magic Mike actor is off the market!  Us Weekly is reporting that Alex is engaged to actress Riley Keough!

Alex and Riley met on the set of ‘Magic Mike’ and have been dating since back in October.

A little Riley trivia:  Her first name is actually Danielle and she’s the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley.  She starred in ‘The Runaways‘, playing the sister of Dakota Fanning’s character.  She was also up for the role in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman‘, but in the end it went to Kristen Stewart.

Congrats to them (if the rumors are true!).

Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Olivia Munn on set!

The movie is based on a true story – and will star Channing Tatum as the male stripper. Tatum, who has admitted to stripping before becoming an actor is the perfect choice for the role!

“This was a wild and pivotal time in my life and I couldn’t be more thrilled to go down the rabbit hole with Steven (Soderbergh),” Tatum said in a statement. Soderbergh was similarly excited.

“When Channing talked to me about this, I thought it was one of the best ideas I’d ever heard for a movie,” the Oscar-winning director said. “I said I wanted in immediately. It’s sexy, funny and shocking. We’re using Saturday Night Fever as our model, so hopefully we’re on the right track.”

The film costars Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey and Olivia Munn.
