So I just finished watching the premiere of Pushing Daisies with my husband. From the previews I wasn’t sure if I would like the show it seemed a little strange. I have to say though I really loved the first episode, I loved all the characters and how it flowed more like a movie than a TV show.
If nothing else it is definitely different from all the other shows on air right now and it was a refreshing change. It’s not often my husband and I can agree on a show to watch together since ESPN is not my idea of a great evening in. Pushing Daises was well written and interesting enough to keep us both watching, I’m interested to see how it does in the ratings.

Andrew Firestone a.k.a. The Bachelor is engaged again
Andrew Firestone’s proposal to Jen Schefft on ABC’s dating show “The Bachelor” in 2003 was watched by millions and led to months of tabloid chatter afterward — until the couple broke up later that year.
Now Firestone is engaged again, his father and Santa Barbara County Supervisor Brooks Firestone, said Monday. His son is engaged to model-actress Ivana Bozilovic, and they plan to marry in the spring, Firestone said. “We love her,” he said. “She makes Andrew behave.”
Bozilovic, 30, has appeared in films including “Wedding Crashers” and “National Lampoon’s Van Wilder.” Andrew Firestone, 32, manages the family’s Paso Robles winery.
And yes, her nuanced role in “Wedding Crashers” was as one of the sets of breasts bedded by Owen Wilson in the opening sequence. Classy!
I still like Jen the best, and shouldn’t he grow up and behave by himself somehow I don’t think this is a union to last through the ages.

“Supernanny” Kid Sets Fire to Home
News flash! Reality TV shows won’t solve every crisis! One family found out the hard way, when their wacky kid set fire to the family home — after appearing on the TV show “Supernanny.” Burn!
Supernanny Jo Frost — who appears on both British and American versions of the show — visited Paul and Susan Young and their five children in 2005. Frost attempted to help the Youngs tame their rambunctious boys, all under age 11, but mom said that appearing on the show made the kids behave worse and play up to cameras.
The fire appears to have been started by 3-year-old Joel while he was home with mother Susan, and his siblings were in school. Damage to the home was so severe that the family was forced to move into a hotel. Is “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” casting?!
The fire started in the kitchen, said Essex police officer Terry Hutton. As Young attempted to put the fire out, “the little boy went through the dining room and set fire to the curtains,” reports the Daily Mail.

ABC has done it again- they’ve chosen a great cast of celebrities to dance their way into our hearts & our living rooms.
What a way to round out the 2 day season premier! Yesterday, ladies Jennie Garth, Melanie Brown, & Sabrina Bryan set the bar incredibly high for this year’s competitors, perhaps too high. Tonight, the men were entertaining- but they lacked the technique the ladies did on Monday evening. You can’t take away from the gorgeous eye-candy, though! The judges compared model Albert Reed’s performance to that of a stripper; soapstar Cameron Mathison was just yum yum yum; boxer Floyd Mayweather busted some moves; & racecar driver Helio Castroneves was an incredibly pleasant surprise with his smooth moves. I think he might be the front runner & my new favorite! Billionaire Mark Cuban & the iconic Wayne Newton rounded out the bunch with their entertaining personalities & charm.
Start watching this show if you don’t already- it’s uber fun & entertaining!
Who’s YOUR favorite?

I don’t know why I am drawn to the Bachelor. It always sucks – and I like it. I am endlessly entertained by women making an ass out themselves on public tv. I mean they signed up for it, right?

Tauni (above) stuck her butt in his face – and shook it. She claimed it was her “vibe”. I mean that is classic tv right there. I can’t imagine why he didn’t pick her!

Melissa lost her fake boob thingy, where Jade picked it up and displayed it for everyone to see. Melissa admits that it’s hers, and that she’s “trying very hard to be bigger boobed,” but gives up and takes out the second one. Melissa also proceeds to get VERY drunk, and can hardly stand up during the rose ceremony.

My favorite moment of the night was when Morgan decides “desperate measures” are called for and shows Brad her webbed toes! She takes off her shoes and puts her feet up on the table, so the poor Bachelor can have a closer look at her nasty ass feet. Recounting the incident to the camera, Brad is laughing so hard, he has to wipe the tears from his eyes. I was right there with ya, Brad.

Juli decided that Brad wanted to see her “human pretzel” and whipped that badboy stunt out. Juli decides that to get the First Impression Rose, she’ll have to do her “Human Pretzel” routine but first she puts on long pants under her dress so she can bend her legs behind her head without flashing him! McCarten declares she wouldn’t have done that and pronounces the stunt “awkward.”
Now this is TV at it’s best. Thank you very much.
