Jon Gosselin is really proud of his part time job at TGI Friday’s, which is, um, hard not to find hilarious?

The 39-year-old former reality star called in to 103.7 Dallas’ Kannon And Sybil on Wednesday, and confirmed reports that he was indeed working at a TGI Friday’s in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a cook. But before you go thinking he’s broke, Jon  just wanted to emphasize he doesn’t need the money. No, instead Gosselin insisted he took the gig because of his passion for cooking. Yep. TGI Fridays: where you make your passion a REALITY. ET reports:

“I love cooking, so my buddy calls me and asks me [because he] needed help in the kitchen,” Gosselin says. “So, I’m like, ‘yeah.’ I’m really happy that TGI hired me for my cooking ability, and not for who I am. But I only work there two days a week, so I took my paycheck and I would just donate to charity. One week it was CMN — Children’s Miracle Network. So, I did it not for the money, I did it because I’m passionate about cooking. I really didn’t make a lot of money there.”

But Gosselin says that now that the cat’s out of the bag, he can’t work there anymore.

“I’m not going to work there anymore because now the trust and the teamwork is gone,” he says. “Because now someone took a picture of me and sold it to TMZ … and now I have to leave a job I’m passionate about.”

Not sure why he has to quit- wouldn’t it be easier now that his secret’s exposed? Whatever. Jon’s full of BS: always has been and always will be!

Not to be upstaged by his shortlived TGI Fridays gig is his gig #1…wait for it… DJing. I KNOW! fry cook/DJ? Oh man, you can’t make this stuff up, can you?

“It’s the longest job I’ve had after the divorce, and it’s all mine,” he told Yahoo! Celebrity. “I own it.”

Can I get Jon to DJ AND cook at my next big event? Pretty please? Because that sounds AMAZING.
