Ahh, the TROLLS.
Unsurprisingly, this whole Taylor Swiftàbacklash has extended into her Wikipedia page, which was vandalized following her ââ¬ÅFamousââ¬Â feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. So what happened? Oh, we’ll tell ya:
In the birth name section, the ââ¬ÅShake It Offââ¬Â singerââ¬â¢s name was changed to ââ¬ÅTaylor ââ¬ËSlithering Snake Becky With the Good Liesââ¬â¢ Alison Swift,ââ¬Â a nod to Beyoncé calling her loverââ¬â¢s mistress ââ¬ÅBecky With the Good Hairââ¬Â on her album Lemonade. The nasty trolls didnââ¬â¢t stop there, adding Mean Girlsââ¬â¢ ââ¬ÅRegina Georgeââ¬Â and ââ¬Åvictimââ¬Â to her list of nicknames and ââ¬Åliarââ¬Â to her occupations.
The opening line of her bio section was switched to say: ââ¬ÅTaylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter fraud that got dragged to the grave by successful businesswoman Kim Kardashian.ââ¬Â
Of course Wikipedia editors caught wind of the changes and returned the page to its original state, in addition to locking the page to prevent certain trolls from making additional changes/remarks. In my opinion, this whole thing is going to blow over pretty soon.
But Becky with the Good lies? Kinda clever.
