Woah woah woah woah woah.

Every time I hear new news about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, I’m like, this is a rebound relationship that has gone WAY TO FAR. That being said, Gwen is a serial monogamist, so maybe she just needed one in the wings to get out of her marriage. But, according to US Weekly, the two are ready to take the next couple steps in the seriousness of their Voice-ly hook uppage: a kid, and possibly marriage:

The former co-mentors on NBC’s The Voice, who began dating last October, “talk openly about their future together,” says a Stefani family source. “They say things like, ‘When we get married . . .’ all the time.” Married with children, that is: The 46-year-old mom of Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2 (with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale) “is totally smitten and wants to have a baby with Blake,” says a Stefani friend. “Gwen is trying to get pregnant.”

Shelton, 39, dreamed of fatherhood for years. In fact, his desire was a factor in his summer 2015 split from wife of four years Miranda Lambert. “Blake was dying to have kids,” says a source, “but Miranda kept putting it off.”

The “Make Me Like You” singer, on the other hand, hopes to see his wish fulfilled. “Gwen says she wants to give Blake his own kid,” says the Stefani friend, adding that the mom of three boys has her own motivation: “She wants a girl!”

Gwen Stefani is like a beautiful babymaker, though I’m skeptical that Blake Shelton being super eager to have kids with Miranda Lambert- it feels like their marriage was much more about wanting to be some kind of “country ideal.” Dunno, but here’s hoping Gwen and Blake can, I dunno, live happily ever after?
