Lemonade? More like historyade (sorry).
Jay-Z and Beyonce are continuing the phenomenon in trying to make people think they aren’t just one big marketing, moneymaking machine and I guess we’re all buying into it? Sources confirmed exclusively to Page Six that the couple have been making a surprise album, and it’s going to drop on Tidal (of course) very soon.
A source from Page Six says, ââ¬ÅJay and Beyoncé were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after ââ¬ËLemonade.ââ¬â¢ Itââ¬â¢s more their style to respond through music.ââ¬Â
Nobody knows exactly how long the couple have been working on the album, but one thing’s for sure- if Bey can make Lemonade AND tour AND make another (maybe) decent album with Jay-Z, woman deserves to be president. That’s multitasking, YO.
Meanwhile, Jay made a rare onstage appearance at the opening night of Sean ââ¬ÅPuffyââ¬Â Combsââ¬â¢ Bad Boy Family Reunion concert at Brooklynââ¬â¢s Barclays Center on Friday.
Bey and Jayââ¬â¢s previous collaborations include 2002ââ¬â¢s ââ¬Åââ¬â°Ã¢â¬â¢03 Bonnie & Clyde,ââ¬Â then ââ¬ÅCrazy in Loveââ¬Â a year later. Beyoncé also sang on Jay Zââ¬â¢s ââ¬ÅHollywood.ââ¬Â More recently, their joint tracks include ââ¬ÅLift Off,ââ¬Â ââ¬ÅDrunk in Loveââ¬Â and ââ¬ÅPart II (On the Run).ââ¬Â And now…this. Will it be like a romantic “Watch The Throne? Who knows.
Will you listen to their new album on Tidal?!
