So, does that bring the sue tally of Jessica Alba‘s Honest Company to three? Five? I’m losing count…

Alba’s company has come under fire for lots of products: soaps, cleaners, diapers, sunscreens, pretty much anything you see on their website is probably more, uh, “dishonest” than advertised. And now, it’s happening again. This time, their baby food is the subject of a lawsuit filed in LA.

The Organic Consumers Association claims Honest’s organic infant formula is “in fact not organic” as it allegedly includes 11 “synthetic ingredients not allowed in organic food by federal law.” WHOOPS.

According to Page Six, the accusations read:

“Of the 40 ingredients … more than a quarter are synthetic substances that are not allowed in organic products … some … are federally regulated as hazardous compounds. At least one of these ingredients is irradiated … some have not been assessed as safe for human foods, much less for infant formulas.”

In case you’re wondering, some of these substances include sodium selenite, cholecalciferol, and calcium pantothenate. I know, not sure what they are but yeah, they don’t sound “organic.”

Jessica, you might wanna throw in the towel on this one. Maybe go back to acting?
