Another self-important yet not self-aware interview for Kylie Jenner…
Marie Claireââ¬â¢s May issue has multiple covers, devoted to ââ¬ÅFresh Facesââ¬Â and Kylie got one, though I’m not sure I’d call her face “fresh.” Words like overly-tanned, botoxed and spackled with makeup more easily come to mind, but whatever. Other gals who snagged covers were ever-bland Hailey Baldwin, and the arguably less famous celebs Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Zendaya and Ellie Goulding. In true form, Kylie’s interview was just as vapid and unsatisfying as the rest:
On learning more details surrounding her dadââ¬â¢s transition along with the rest of the world in his Diane Sawyer interview: ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢ve always known. It was a secret we just couldnââ¬â¢t talk about.ââ¬Â
On her ability to influence others and have fun with it: ââ¬ÅI started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last nightââ¬Â¦I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow.ââ¬Â
On posting photos on social media: ââ¬ÅWhen I post sexy photos, I always regret it. Like, Oh my God, everyone is seeing my body. I get really weird about it.ââ¬Â
Wow, just wow. Could she sound less likeable and less completely useless? I call BS on ALL of these responses, especially considering her whole career is about posting sexy pics on social media. I feel badly with Gugu, because sheââ¬â¢s a real actress with a lot to say about her profession and the world.
