Everybody who’s anybody is judging/advising for The Voice, aren’t they?
Miley Cyrus announced that she, too, will be cashing in on the show’s musical gravy train, but she won’t be making her debut as a coach on The Voice until season 11. Right now, she’ll have to be content being an advisor- which for Miley probably means smoking weed and making animal sounds to the dismay of some 17 year old choir singer (that’s the show, right? I’ve not seen it). She can be seen this Tuesday guiding the singers, and admits she loves making money, er, doing the show:
“I didn’t really know what to expect from the show … I didn’t realize how real it was,” she says in a video shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “It’s about making things your own … Being yourself.”
“I love being with these artists because we’ve seen little changes made, and it being a new song, a new person,” she says. “You have this platform to bring light to people and to bring hope to people, and I think that’s what this show does.”
And on Friday, she confessed to her involvement as judge for season 11:
“It’s true! I am going to be the newest judge on Season 11 of The Voice,” the “Wrecking Ball” singer tweeted Friday. Alicia Keys – who has previously served as a mentor on the show – will also a coach, along with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine.
