Even though Kate Middleton married into the royal family in 2011, there are some things she’s still learning, and getting teased about!
The Duchess dished about flack she gets from her grandmother-in-law in a new documentary about Queen Elizabeth II, titled Our Queen at 90, that aired on Sunday. Overall, QE has been cool as hell, but in some ways, she’s still got lots to learn:
“She has been very generous. I feel she’s been there as a gentle guidance really for me. Everyone teases me in the family that I spend far too long chatting so I think I have still got to learn a little bit more and pick up a few more tips.”
Aw, this is cute.
Kate says her majesty regularly gifts her great grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, with toys when they stay over nights with “Gan-Gan”. Aw, she might be the ceremonial ruler of England, but she’s still a cool Grandmother.
Regardless of her Grandmotherly-ness, the Windsor family matriarch’s long reign is pretty intimidating. Prince Harry noted:
“Trying to follow in her footsteps is a huge, huge deal. How does one do that? Where do you even start?”
No idea, Harry. No friggin’ idea.
