I think Yeezy‘s seriously losing it.
Kanye West threw an epic tantrum behind the scenes of ââ¬ÅSaturday Night Live,ââ¬Â so much so that he threatened to walk outta there and not perform. In fact, Lorne Michaels himself plus Kim Kardashian had to reason with the ââ¬ÅRunawayââ¬Â rapper to keep him from bolting. Here’s the story:
ââ¬ÅJust moments leading into the live show, and during the live show, Kanye had a meltdown and threatened to walk off,ââ¬Â said a source familiar with the scene.
Multiple sources told us that Kanye suddenly decided he wasnââ¬â¢t happy with the ââ¬ÅSNLââ¬Â set for his musical appearance, which included a video screen and not much else.
ââ¬ÅIt had something to do with the set,ââ¬Â said a source. ââ¬ÅKim, who was in the audience with Kylie Jenner, had to come down.àLorne had to personally talk to Kanye. There were a few really tense minutesââ¬Â when it looked like West was walking, leaving the live NBC show in the lurch.
Another source added of West: ââ¬ÅHe freaked out about how the set was arranged. He was saying heââ¬â¢s ââ¬Ëthe greatest artist.ââ¬â¢ Heââ¬â¢s having regular meltdowns. Everyoneââ¬â¢s walking on eggshells around him. Heââ¬â¢s under a lot of stress between the new album and the fashion line.ââ¬Â
Michaels, the first source said, was ââ¬Åeerily calmââ¬Â through the incident. ââ¬ÅI guess after 41 years of doing this, heââ¬â¢s used to it.ââ¬Â
Other staffers were prepping for the worst. ââ¬ÅThey were like, ââ¬ËIf this happens, and he walks, what are we going to do?ââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬Â
After the ââ¬Åartistic differences,ââ¬Â Kanye finally deigned to stay and perform.
In other unhinged behavior, after tweeting he was $53 million in debt this week, Kanye begged, ââ¬ÅMark Zuckerberg invest 1 billion dollars into Kanye West ideas.ââ¬Â He then declared of himself on Monday, in the third person, ââ¬ÅHe is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time,ââ¬Â and tweeted at Google co-founder Larry Page, ââ¬ÅIââ¬â¢m down for your help too.ââ¬Â

Close call, SNL. I hear his performance was pretty tight, but I think all this diva stuff is going to get old, fast. Unless this album is genius. Who knows?
Will you listen to “The Life Of Pablo?”
