58th Annual Grammy Awards - Arrivals

And he cryptically aired his grievances in an interestingly Bowie way.

Lady Gaga delivered a memorial performance for music legend David Bowie last night, and while to me it look like somebody’s drunk aunt got to many turns at Karaoke, some people dug it. Fortunately, David Bowie’s son, Duncan Jones, was not one of those people.

Jones took to social media on Monday night with a cryptic tweet- the definition of the word “Gaga” on twitter:
“‘Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused.’ Damn it! What IS that word?!” he tweeted.

Jones issued his tweet around the same time Gaga celebrated the night away at Mark Ronson’s after party at Elyx House in Los Angeles. Duncan Jones is a pretty successful director in his own right, not just some dude glomming onto his dad’s fame. I kinda like his subversive criticism of Gaga’s performance- it’s like a little knife in her glammed up back.

Sorry, Gaga. You’re mainstream now- something Bowie would not’ve liked very much.
