Jennifer Lawrence talks about her character Katniss Everdeen

Jennifer Lawrence and Aziz Ansari have the right idea!

The two are pals, but who knows, maybe more? Fried chicken will make people do crazy, inexplicable things. Anyhow, the two were seen dining at the Commodore in Williamsburg Sunday, and ordered plenty of the chic bar’s famous plates, including nachos, Mac ‘n cheese, a friend chicken plate and a sandwich. According to People, Lawrence was very animatedly enjoying her time with the Master of None comedian, and the ketchup that was also on premises:

“They looked friendly and were showing each other stuff on their iPhones and chatting and laughing,” an onlooker tells PEOPLE. “They tried lots of different food and looked like they had a lot of fun. They looked like really good friends.”

The pair shared a bottle of wine while dining on a selection of the chic dive bar’s famous comfort foods – nachos, mac ‘n’ cheese, a fried chicken plate and a sandwich for Lawrence. The actress was seen dunking her sandwich into a big pile of ketchup while she ate and later asked the bartender to take a photo of her an Ansari on her phone.

These two are more familiar with each other than you’d think- Lawrence was seen giving Ansari a piggyback ride when they left a Saturday Night Live aterparty in October (Amy Schumer guested). The duo and Schumer also hung out in October when Lawrence was working on a Passengers with Ansari’s former Parks and Recreation costar, Chris Pratt. The group (sans Pratt) also spent Thanksgiving together.

Comedy buddies!
