Is this the Grammys or the Superbowl? Because I have a feeling the commercials will be marginally more interesting, but still super zzzz-enducing.
Why? Because Gwen Stefani announced she would be creating a live music video for her new single during a Grammy commercial break, in collaboration with Target.
Yes, how punk. Target is producing Gwen’s video for her song Make Me Like You, which will air live during a four-minute commercial break during the award show. The former No Doubt frontwoman is pumped about the whole thing, saying:
“Target has an incredible legacy of creating unexpected moments in music, and I’m thrilled to be partnering with them to create my new music video on live television next Monday.”
Uh, an “incredible legacy of creating unexpected moments in music?” Like what?
On March 18th, Target will also drop an exclusive deluxe edition of Gwen’s new album: This Is What the Truth Feels Like with FOUR bonus tracks, which is exiting for people who I guess still buy their music at Target?
Ugh, the Grammys and all this commercialized garbage is so BORING. C’mon Gwen, let’s get you back to your roots.
