The 86th Annual Academy Awards - Arrivals A6

Hey Zac Efron, might wanna check your privilege.

The actor to Twitter on Tuesday to apologize for a controversial Martin Luther King Jr. tweet that caused fans to revolt:

“I’m grateful for a couple things today: Martin Luther King Jr & 10 million followers on IG,” said the tweet. OBVI, after he posted it, followers immediately went ballistic, saying he sucked and his account should be deleted. Later, the post itself was deleted, and Efron issued a response. He said:

“I have nothing but the greatest admiration & respect for MLK. My last post was insensitive & I apologize to anyone who I offended. So sorry.”

Don’t know where Zac even finds the time to tweet between maintaining those six pack abs and being a movie star.

Do you think his tweet was offensive, or all in good fun?
