Oh, I’m sure there are things in it for her.
Just one month away from their anniversary, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are going strong!
Depp gave his wife a shout out Sunday night while accepting the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, which was sweet, but also super self-important, much like both Depp and Heard:
“I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can’t be easy,” he said, referring to his many film roles. “It’s hard for me—it’s got to be hard for her.”
In November, Depp exclusively opened up to me about Heard, in one of the most obnoxious quotes I’ve ever heard, outside of Blake Lively‘s crafting/wanting to be the next Martha Stewart interviews:
“We connect on a lot of levels but the first thing that really got me was she’s an aficionado of the blues,” he said at the L.A. premiere of her film The Danish Girl. “I would play a song, some old obscure blues song, and she knew what it was.”
I wanna vomit when I think about Depp and twenty-something Heard listening to obscure blues paid for by Pirates of the Carribbean franchise money. GET OVER YOURSELVES.
