Amy Schumer has a message for her trolls in the new year: find a life you can be proud of in 2016!
Amy has received her share of rude and nasty comments on Twitter and other social networking websites, but she’s taking the high road. When it comes to offering up her New Year’s wishes, she told her haters to hope for better in 2016.
She said, “Happy New Years to internet trolls. I hope you find happiness this year. Nourishing relationships and a life you can be proud of.”
In February, Amy was attacked for her weight after a movie critic named Jeff Wells saw her movie “Trainwreck” and commented on her body. He called her chubby and said, “There’s no way she’d be an object of heated romantic interest in the real world.”
Instead of snapping at the critic, she shared a picture of herself nearly in the buff. She captioned the photo: “I am a size 6 and have no plans of changing. This is it. Stay on or get off. Kisses!”
What do you think of her responses to the body shamers?
