Now that everybody and their mothers have seen the new “Star Wars” movie, Daisy Ridley is becoming a household name. If you aren’t aware, she plays Rey in the movie. (No spoilers ahead for those who haven’t seen it!)
Daisy is about to be catapulted to superstardom as a result of her role in the franchise – similar to what happened with Kristen Stewart and the “Twilight” movies. So, who better to offer up advice on fame to the budding star?
When asked what advice she’d offer Daisy, Kristen said, “Focus on the fact that you’re stoked ’cause you’re doing the work that you want to do. It’s literally mainly just about focusing on what makes you happy. And if losing your anonymity or whatever doesn’t make you happy, then focus on something else.”
Daisy also said that she was offered advice by Harrison Ford, but called it more like a warning. She said, “It wasn’t really advice. It was more of a warning. He said that the anonymity thing is difficult, because as creative people you look to other people for inspiration and suddenly people are looking at you.”
